Bc defendants are convicted with weak evidence everyday. And if he loses any one of those trials he was facing more than 9 yrs probably. Plus with the facts alleged he was not getting any sympathy from a sentencing judge (or 4), let alone a jury (or 4).
I suspect he decided not to take the risk since the prosecutors made a sweet offer.
I know the >risk is huge but convictions can be appealed and could be >overturned in your favor if it comes to that.
