We were studying in Spain for the summer and my goofy friend fell hard for this local girl. They kicked it alot and I think he smashed towards the end of our stay. We leave the country and what does my goofy friend do? He decides to surprise her by going back and seeing her unannounced. He shows up at her doorstep and she is like what are you doing here?

He thought she would like the surprised but then he became painfully aware it was a summer fling that she entertained because she knew he would be leaving at the end of the program.

He hung with her a bit on the surprised visit but eventually got the hint and didn't even see her towards the end and just bounced.
