When I'm in Whole Foods and muhfuckas ask me shit like I work there.

Now, there's the side of me that doesn't want to get offended because I know a few people who work at WF and they got good gigs, it allows them flexibility to pursue some of their other passions, and more than once they've hooked a nigga up with a little extra on the seafood or the hot bar. People that work there are cool with me.

BUT...

I still take issue with folks just walking up on me asking where the muhfuckin cumin is because I'm wearing a hoodie and some jeans.

This is that grown-up shit I stay tacking and trying to resolve with myself. Like, if I was white and similarly attired, would I get that shit? But if I was white, would I mind?

I'on't know.

But for now, I'mma just ruminate on sending the white lady off today with the wrong directions for baking powder.
