it was a half facetious comment. i had a bad experience living in memphis. a lot of people love that place. like every city it has its good and bad qualities

where are you moving from? have you lived in the mid-south/bible belt before?

yes. assuming you don't have a family, i think you'll be hard pressed to find a place to live for ~$1500/month. you'll likely end up finding a very spacious spot in a nice neighborhood for just over $1k
