It doesn't factor in states with caucuses, since caucuses are weird and stupid. It also doesn't account for closed vs. open primaries. So while it's definitely indicative of a certain level of party support, it's not the be all end all of national sentiment.

It's a good look for the candidates in front, though, no doubt.
