everything No Limit had released to that point seemed bootleg and ridiculous and awful. and their albums had those awful, cheesy covers. the whole operation felt amateur - like they were pressing CDs and covers in somebody's basement on some printer they bought at Best Buy.
it felt like it was beneath Snoop - who was on his way to becoming a legit Pop star by then. signing w/them seemed like a step backward.
