Or at least really trying to get that old thing back.
Everytime over the last 10years when I speak to one, they ask about the other. Affectionately. Then there was that time my father told me he looked up her address & # and asked if he should call her. Then there was the time my mother asked what part of a certain city my father lived in, because she "knows people there".
