>Are you a fan, or not? Love it, like it, hate it? >Add comments as desired. > >Fight Club --- Good movie. Not as monumental as people make it out to be though >Donnie Darko --- Never saw it >Pulp Fiction --- Good, but also heavily overrated, especially Travolta >Star Wars episodes I - III --- Visually great, but don't have the hold on me that the originals do >Crash --- I've seen neither of them >War of the Worlds --- Great concept and visuals, but Speilberg drops the ball on the closing as usual >Napoleon Dynamite --- I need to see it all the way through >Lord of the Rings trilogy --- This I liked. Peter Jackson did a great job >Sin City --- Another movie I loved. The violent, campy noir feel of the origonal was translated perfectly >Matrix series --- Great first movie, then a massive fall off in the next two. Nowhere near as groundbreaking as people make it out to be >Memento --- Genuinely good, but disturbing movie. loved it >City of God --- Loved this too >Lost in Translation --- Haven't seen it >Scarface --- I was never a guge fan. The older I get the more campy it gets for me. Still decent tho >Training Day --- Denzel had far better movies. That said, I enjoy seeing him in predator mode > >Family Guy --- Used to be great, now decent >Simpsons --- ^^^^^^^ >Aqua Teen Hunger Force --- ok, I'm not a huge fan >Arrested Development --- Never saw it >Lost --- I like what I've seen so far. I need DVD's though >The Office, American and British --- Both really funny. The american one is a textbook example of how to handle remakes >CSI (original and spinoffs) --- Over dramatized, but as a science geek the original was great. Too many spinoffs though >Sopranos --- Never really saw it >Wonderfalls --- ^^^^^^^^ >Freaks and Geeks --- ^^^^^^^^ >Undeclared --- ^^^^^^^^ > >Marvel vs DC --- I have no real preference. As far as iconic characters go, marvel wins though >Batman and prep time --- He kills everyone > >Harry Potter (books and/or movies) --- Good stories. I'm not sure they deserve the worldwide hype they have, but I like them and I can see why kids do too > >George W. Bush (just curious) --- Idiot > > >I tried to remember major points of disagreement here (or just >things I was really curious about), but I know I forgot some. >Feel free to add on, as well.
