i've only seen 3 hitchcock movies (vertigo and north by northwest being the other two) so i'm not quite sure why i saw spellbound as the third one, but i thought it was really good. gregory peck and ingrid bergman are great in the leads and the dali sequence, though apparently truncated down from his original intentions, is a real treat. a lot of the psychoanalytic mumbojumbo makes the film feel a bit dated, but not enough to ruin enjoyment of the film.
