It was part of the required reading in a college course I took on Hitchcock's films.

Thinking back, that might have been the greatest semester of my collegiate career. I had to stick around for a summer session in order to accumulate 6 credits and get myself back on track to graduate on time. So I took "The Films of Alfred Hitchcock" and "The Plays of William Shakespeare." Both classes were in the afternoon so I partied hard every night and slept late. There was also this crazy chick who was living next door that summer and she and I "enjoyed each other's company" quite often.

Ah, college.
