Listen to the book on tape and do a bunch of other stuff at the same time (knit, cook, or whatever), but LISTEN. Your head may not have been bobbin at page 15, but he hadn't said shit. West has a lot to offer and he's usually right on. While you're at it, pick up some tapes by Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, and (on the lighter side) Michael Moore. Good Luck!
