I was lost one night, believing hip hop had died/ why?/ because most tunes sound slack and wack not equiped for my backpack/ then i bumped into trinity/ one-third of slum village's album entity/ supplied myself with enough energy/ to keep my soul grooving till year infinity/ who is responsible for how i feel?/ blame a trio of detroit emcees/ elzhi, baatin and last not least T3/ critiques thought they couldn't pull off a next one without Jay Dee/ yet to my surprise they renewed my faith in EsVee/ how could I ever doubt the three, countinuously redifining the term: master of ceremony/ my thoughts must been tainted, because I was watched some BET/ clever wordplay, instrumenting their voices to hipnotic beats/ i guess it comes easily, when you have the chance to express oneself freely and explore innovation creatively
