painted faced harlots shameless pursuits of famous
trappings shallow wrappings - facades
the new trinity power fame and trust in god
or in god we trust bust with the strength of a truck
made in detroit by brown hands that have seen too much
racism classism police kickin of ass-ism
and brown bodies found in the trash ism class prison
fast living eyes shaeded in ism
to slits till the world falls in focus in my vision
my mission rebelion like slum village raise it up

Check the lethal flow
And my MIC injection
You rhymes are on death row
My are controlling like a c.o.
I come equipped
With a pen loaded with ink
Walking on wires
My minds on the brink
Of dropping some classic
SLUM VILLAGE shit
TAINTED my mind
Painted pictures define
Me and who I be
If you ask me
The best TRINITY from DETROIT
Has to be BAATIN, BAALIN and T3
What else you thought man
They got there lyrics spiced
The others are mad bland
Don’t even speak of demand
Designed thoughts holding
The pen tight and never bight

Written to the instrumental for "Tainted", from the perspective of Baatin.

Graffiti at the liquor sto’ telling me to pack
Where else would a nigga go, this where the fever at/2
The D baby, Detroit, home of the B-Boys
Slum Village, glowing iller than Bruce Leroi/4
A lot of folks tried to “tainted” but the flow remains
It helps to dull the pain like doses of Novocain/6
They used to bootleg, now they just get the boot
Rippin’ Ours ? Gotta ship em off to the institute/8
Cause if you straight jack it then you need a straightjacket
Put in a lot of work to make sure that the tape’s crackin/10
Of course I brought T3, you know he’s kin to me
Elzhi’s the new key on the Trinity, remember me /12
Baatin, chill like Tyson stays hyper
Punch-Out style, wrapped towel like Great Tiger/14
Same signature move, around the world kickin a groove,
SV’s who you getting into/16

all hail the holy TRINITY from the D
with metaphors and similes
that travel PAST the PRESENT into your FUTURE.
an infinity
of thought provoking rhymeschemes in your vicinity
ready to take a rap idiots virginity
and pop his cherry

If everybody was blind, then there’d be no love tainted.
Emotions wouldn’t be painted, and girls wouldn’t be rated.
If everybody was blind, you’d fall in love with bigger things
And I don’t mean the size of the package she brings.
It don’t matter if she’s Pam, Trinity, Cindy or Mallory,
You wouldn’t fall in love with her body, but instead her personality.
If everybody was blind, only true love would exist.
You would see things inside of ‘em that having eyes makes you miss.
It doesn’t matter what you look like, cause for the blind, shape is shapeless
Baatin, T3, and Elzhi could be known for who they are, and they’d be faceless.
If everybody was blind, Detroit wouldn’t be a stereotype
Of a black motor city, it’d be a city of life
It’d be a place where all the blind people could shine,
Not because of they’re ice, because of spirit sublime.
If everybody was blind, music wouldn’t be about the image,
It’d be about the skill, about the message, about things said by Slum Village.
If everybody was blind only real love would exist
If everybody was blind only real love would exist
If everybody was blind.

The object is to leave the microphone wrecked, leave your body in sweat
Leave you with a feeling that you can’t forget
See you about to enter the realm
Of this Slum Village Trinity ship…I’m at the helm
Directing, reflecting the energy like T3
Can't forget Baatin and El"Z"-
H.I. rhymes too heavy to stay fly
With pin point accuracy hitting your 3rd eye
I go to open mics and recite the insight,
Not tainted and never cross over like midnight
I stay grounded like an airplane, who’s security got breached
You can tell I’m hip hop, listen to my speech
Microphone check one, two
Welcome to this Detroit preview
The main event is about to go down
Even during sound check we attract a crowd
Like, graf artists, b-boys, and back packers
Dj’s, emcees, computer hackers

Think back to the OKP tour in 01'
With the Roots, Bahamadia and Slum diddee-dum,
The Slum village, on a verbal pillage,
to find it's ancestry,
Look to the history of the holy trinity,
There inspiration, the childhood in the Rock City of Detroit,
The industry was tainted, record componies wish to exploit,
Baatan, Elzhi, and T3,
not likely, for they symbolize the epitome,
Of the struggle we fight daily
Yet somehow these lyracists came up with a remedy
to cope with reality, and the minds' insanity
We raise it up, raise up our hands,
With no partiallity, we quest through this concrete jungle
Life is one big road, the signs meant to keeps us humble
For the first time the supply meets demand,
and Slum village, soon to be that name brand,
Similair to Talib, post Foritified live,
and the chali 2na, apres jurassic 5,
Not to play out the other 4,
Dud I mention Slum village has 3, magnificent mc's
The Trinity, We reminisce over you 2,
Jesus, Mary, and The Spirit, the first clue
That g-d is the 1.

"You the dawn of mediocrity, i'm the indepensable hero of hip hoprisy."

Commercial rappers I exploit/ they think slum village is a city in Detroit/ intelligent word play/ keepin the mental pictures painted/ hurting my people in the worst way/ leaving aspirations tainted/ our situation is a catalyst for revolutionary action/ your fashion doesn't intrigue me/ because I spend more Jackson's than Mike and T3/ I don't know why the fuc I'm fucin with you/ because when its time to take a stand nothing happens/ we continue to hit foul balls but yet we're still Baatin/ Falacio, interference, promiscuous, homosapians/ those four words compel me/ to take a world pilgrimage but I'm new to the village like Elzhi/ Street Science/ we the defiant/ deny any attempt or prevent an alliance/ teaching cultural chemistry/ combined with the ministry/ defy the enemy/ who persistently tries to diminish the trinity/ enigmatic havoc aligned/ it takes a village to raise a child, but slum village to raise a mind...

Check it my flow be 3 parts like a Trinity
But me be one man rolling through Infinity\
I walk miles and miles through Slum Villages
Looking for MC’s to start scrimmages\ But they
styles is all Tainted so when I came with the realness
they all fainted\ They hearts are weak like heart attack patients\
My flows like blood they just couldn’t take it\
The blood I pump its turns to acid burning you Kats
with my hot classics\ I call you Kats XBOX’s
because your games can fit in my pocket\ Moving through
engines like a piston my style you can call it mad Precision\
I’m built Ford tough but I’m Focused\ No smoking mirrors no hocus-pocus
My flows no joke like the city of Detroit wrote this\ Writing rhymes heavy like
T3, Baatin, and Elzhi\ I be the rhyme synthesizer I size up rhymes to make
them liver so when I cut ya it feels like the barber\
My competition had them all wishing that I would quite this game because I got them
all looking lame like kids walking cripple my girl she got big nipples and she
throws fits when she thinks she got a big pimple those holes in her face are called
dimples\ Most of you Kats got holes in your rhymes and that’s why the XBOX is

Walking through the city the sun shines bright
In my walkman, T3 and Baatin keeps the flow tight
And can't forget about Elzhi, makin doubters believe
These brothers come on point, comin straight outta Detroit
THe inner area of town but who can resist it
Some call it the ghetto to us its Slum Village
They say we trouble makers but it's all exagerated
Struggling with opportunities we try to stay sacred
Though I love women, yo, I hate to say it
Some have broke my heart because the love we had was tainted
But through all the aches we all make mistakes
Live and Learn is the theme and lets unite for good sake
And stay together like Trinity so we never break
Share this music with your friends and become soul mates

You know I'm coming through, better pay some respect
You know how I flow, so keep your mouth in check
You had your turn, now I'm gonna take mine
Slum Village represented as I toe this line
Between those that have skill, like the man T3
And those who act ill, just keep hatin' on me
Its like fuel for a fire that won't ever go out
I'll take anyone down, fightin' bout by bout
I'm not a violent man but I can handle any action
Because Trigger always sparks real rhyme satisfaction
See I utilize my education to conquer all my foes
You just fester frustration fussin' on your woes
As I speak in ways that ain't ever been spoken
Making sure the Trinity will never be broken
My purpose is greater, Baatin's focus my muse
The way you all spit is like hip hop abuse
Tainted goods are no good in Detroit Rock City
Your rhymes are immature, wasted youth-what a pity
So the next time you step up, as Elzhi can attest
You need to learn to beat me if you want to be the best

slum village drops "trinity" in the 2k2
first single Tainted rock parties from Detroit to Beirut
wack MCs show SV hositility
cuz SV got mad-rapping ability
with their rhyme agility
their last album got them credibility
i listened to T3 and Baatin so much now they're like family
and with the addition of Elzhi
i'll be pumpin Trinity most happily
it my 2002 Caddilac SUV
fakeass gangsters pumpin their DMX, c'mon, they're killin me
i dont know how high the glass ceiling be
but the album sales break it, and get one million maybe three
in the first week
to bad critics, turn your cheek
cuz true hip-hop fans know
that the album should be tight;we'll grab it in stores and go
7595, why
Posted by WILDOUT, Tue Aug-13-02 06:14 AM
why would i contest the trinity
man id promote your sh!t even if it werent just to better me
uploading intricacies constantly to okp
watch my t3 connec' to the home of the slum's vets
no time for regrets
when most of these men would pillage to try and win
im into growth of this village rather then tappin chins
and yet half these cats aint even did they math
talkin trash to earn an x-box.. tainted love indeed
and i aint even here to come get it like Elzhi
they aint got to give me shit cuz Detroit goin hear my voice
soon as me and Jay-Dee hook this shit up properly
The Imperceptible 076, Al-Baatin goin read this sh!t just for kicks
goin say the Yaa-Baatin even tho Baatin stay invisible to the physical
eye, goin flow over top of this like "sunday brunch"
with a toast to these rap host's
cuz like bulworth said back in 96 we need a spirit not a ghost
and that type of sh!t just shows while it grows
one.

my lyrical scheme comes in a trinity
trifold, com plex soul
the dicast mold of one who rhymes bold
stay out detroit if you cant take the cold
cause ill freeze mics
so that you can press rewind
and play it back one time
for your well being and peace of mind
let the wax spin out
"And if you don't know, your shit is crucial
To all my people in the place if you need to know I
(Rock with the band) enough to say (watch ya man)
Do my shit on the dance floor
And if you need to call me (you know)
My number is (3 2 1) 1 8 7 7 "
or i might start baatin (beatin) you peons
for not giving respect to the one that
can't be broken or touched
matalic shape shifter
your weapons, tanks, and milatary funding
are not enough
arnold couldnt see it
even if this was T3
the grimy slum vill-
age beyond the calenders number of days
they'll be bowing down to pray
to the elzhi (all high...) elzhi
to get away
from that tainted...

Stupid niggas keep rappin, ya'll really need to kill it/
I'm representin Detroit, money, like Mike Illich/
Like the words of Malcom, I turn ya slum to a village/
Ya boo is kinda loose, OOOPS! She let me fill it/
Had to be that new Slum V. shit becuase I played it/
Threw my shirt off stage and ya girlfriend fainted/
My words curve absurd, you nerds will get tainted/
Logged in and tried to win, but they really didn't say shit/
You'll get deleted and I mean it: wackness was not invited/
Fools, I drop jewels. Why did you even try it?/
I'm like Tosh when I mosh, I'll make D.E.T. riot/
And bring war with keyboards to get the whole shit excited/
Mishevious with shit from '93 till infinity/
Nice as Christ with mics, convert a third of ya trinity/
I'm cold as December be, you'll all remember me/
When I thrill, I'm Dollar Bill: I want my percentage D!/
And there ain't no moonlightin, why are ya'll still writin?/
Time just stopped - don't make me plug in my mic man/
I step on stage, they start dimmin the lightin/
Cats came to battle and left tryin to fight/
T3, Elzhi, Baatin - it's all power/
Beer, weed, card tables, and ankles like kickin flour/
el J.A.M. doubleA. to the aR.a/
Known for poppin coochies and bottles and silk collars

My name is Biggfoot and I can tell
slum village stories that's darker than hell
cuz my heart holds pain yours has never even felt
son you want to test me are ya sure that you're well?
Cuz if you had you're head on straight, you'd see I'm not for testin
Lyrical best, nothing less, I'm hella stressed and that's my weapon
trekkin from the town to Detroit without no restin
through drug tainted visions I see the prison that I'm kept in
but I'm set in my ways, been like that for days
and I'm too damn old to be going thru a phase
so the trinity that I turn to is me myself and I
knockin that joint with Baatin, T3, Elzhi
and take a bidi to the chest
and try to flee the
city that bore me
the city where hores sleep
in corners against doors, and where water and shore meet

its the true sense of senseless saviors sent to keep hiphop centered only to get filtered like the radio invention/i been tainted/half awaken through 3 divine trinitys though mah soul they had taken/not from detroit/but i could rock a city with the music that im steadily making/through ear drums of the people standing face first in slum villages without T3 connections/my imperfectin stregnthins all suggestions not to mention the death sentence when i grew up in 8 sections/baatin balls out parks through firewalls/elzhi figured out mah plan and srayed lysol all over the dusty records i had to fall/had to crawl up out the underground before they figured me out/i wasnt that indie at all/small favors with big rewards/small groups big awards/through the tri state/with a garden state license plate i perpatrate like fila jackets and jeans by triple 5 soul/nike sneakers and a hat from kmart that i stole

domination under my mask of diction
i hit up trinity hoping she'd lead me to morpheus
trapped in a cyclical vortex tunnel
tainted by the shadiest detroit vanilla flavor
not escapes, yet paths in the race
my slum village be my only sanctuary
from the paste
the flavor kicks in with the sweetness
running for that goal like its' personification
named walter payton
it's t3, elzhi, and baatin going for the gusto
C me B4 you drop your next posse cut flow...

You must think I'm from Detroit I flow deadly like a Tiger
Shooting on all Pistons, even Lion I'm on fire
You chasing tainted hoes with painted toes you got it all wrong
Scoop her up in a club soon as you hear a slow song
Bumpin and grindin to R Kelly or some classic T3
It Never Rains in Southern Cali on your Anniversary
Many applied to my school of thought but never got in
They got nervous in a second and pressed the panic Baatin
My flows get tall props you are still a little shorter
Watch me dissect the next flow in alphabetical order
My grade is that A that you wanna B, C?
Thought your flow was DEF, but it's as wack as can be
Look G, HI you must be from day to day
Why don't you pick up a book, put down that J, K?
Re-read this flow the next time you get your mind free
I'll stop here, no need to flow through Elzhi (LZ)
My job here is done, I guess that's all for me
Pressing play on the new Slum Village cd Trinity

As if he open his eyes for the first time well a sun rise/
Spread across the sky was the beauty lost in his mind
Brought about by colors so fine they could light the slums of any village/
A sunrise so bright all of Detroit could feel it/
And at that moment, time stopped real quick/
His questions and imaginations then connected/
With answers he previously had held so skeptic/
And when that breath hit, a trinity was formed/
The love that spawned from it was summertime type warm/
And love once tainted from imageless pictures painted/
Had now seen, what before was just a dream/
The story of when an emcee meets the right beat/
Baatin, Elzhi, and T3 know what I mean/
Real love lost inside, but found by surprise/
When that instrumental plays out the story of our lives/
Music to our ears…and then we write

Any nigga from Detroit can respect tha picture painted
On that "8 mile" strip love is best served “Tainted”
But we breed "Playas" out here, You rarely see us faded
Just in case, they dropped the Trinity, to keep us up-dated
SV be dem nigguhs wit dem futuristic flows
"Climax" iz "Fantastic", y’all should already know
T3 times emcess, and they time iz runnin’ out
Baat-in the tree o’ life -- See them branches comin’ out?
Elzhi blazed that ass on that “Welcome to the Dee,”
“If you want it, Come and get it,” cause you can’t see “da 3”
And now they clique-tight, Tommy Hearns couldn’t fight it
Jay-Dee da Drum Lord, Conant Gardens still united
Slum Village on ‘dat ass, just to show you some things
About a city full of niggas causin' “Malice” for da “Green"

In one verse I leave reputations tainted/
my perfomance is breathtaking causing MC's to faint when.../
the mic is in my POsession/
unatainable agression since detroit saw blacks protestin'/
The weak rappers run for protection/
screamin James has escaped from slum village and is headed in our direction/
The perception of hip hop is bitches, drugs and weapons/
I came to replace the trinity of negativity and represent true divinity/
All these internet MC’s use DSL and T3/
no matter how fast your connection you couldn’t seperate Baatin and Elzhi/
I run onto tracks and burn MC’s like calories/
Your rhymes ain’t sick they ain’t even bad alergies/
PEACE!

At the first sight of this contest
A part of me had to suggest
that if I won, the rewards would go beyond the obvious conquest
So I must confess that my mind became a mess
Trippin' thougts of money, cars, and women were what I contemplated
Wait! I quickly realized that those thougts are "Tainted"
I mean there's a whole industry for people who love to fake it for a hit
Everywhere you go its the same old shit
Act drugged out or thugged out and you will get rich
But my heart told me not become a hip-hop glitch
No amount of money and records I obtain can give me what a real love can sustain
I need to re-evaluate my brain and know that life has much more to gain
So, even if I don't win the X-Box or the CD entitled
"Trinity" by "Slum Village"
At least I know that I'll be able to create my own pillage
Not for the spoils of fame in today's pop music
but to bring back Soul in music like the "Detroit"/Motown sound
in which artists tore down an industry of fakeness from the underground
So with "T3", "Baatin", and "Elzhi" tearin' the past and present with an untainted flow straight from their soul
I hope in the future I can represent the real and righteousness of hip-hop and leave a mark on the world like a bullet hole.

I can see elzhi, baatin, t3, remakin’ slowdown
Slum village; Detroit; new millennium Motown
Foes frown, tantrum’s they throw cuz of the showdown
They can’t draw quick enough; dazed cuz of the soul sound
Whoa now; who got the ill beats, skills with pronouns
With a fan base from intellects to bottom feeding low brows
The 4 pound? That ain’t what I pack. I got a cd
trinity; that new hot joint straight from sv
one! (piano) luv is in the house, g
with harmony and tainted ideas of how it oughtta be
can’t slaughter me, i live eternally, ya’ll ain’t harmin’ me
an ironman with supreme clientele, just no wallabees
a star like dirk, minus the porn runnin’ the disco
ya’ll some chicken emcees, ya’lls back coated with Crisco
still ain’t hot, career face death, cousin to slumber
sv drop now you from the d?, all on the lumber
no wonder ya’ll can’t get live, die or retire
scandalous like last nights hoes up in the choir
I spit fire, drink propane, u must be insane
Not buying that new slum village? Your life is too lame
What is this? A verse with me just spittin’ the truth
ultimate rhymes b jawin’ u, and jarrin’ ya tooth……

hhmm..I hear they're killin whores again in detroit...but check it,
my morpheme aint your theme so the story remains tainted
wack emcess on the side lines..screw faced and their complaint is?
"how y'all gon' let DanjaRuss compete against us?!"..well
I'm the hungriest negro in this bitch, shit..i routinely eat lunch for breakfast
or pimp game herbs for they xxxbox, a junkie for plain verbs before i got stuck with
metaphors down in D-tox
kick shit uniquely..cause that's the only way to brown dem reeboks
"trinity played" is when y'all enter competitions all gassed up..
and come out smelling like 3 cocks, so tell me..what's YOUR priority?
being true to self..or being caught up in some pretend world sorority?
yeh..I screwed around with religion and got an STD from a deity,
back when Slum Village was a recycled injun tipi...thriving population: T3
c'mon there's no D-Baatin this, how long y'all been awaiting this?
this cat's been known to dethrone whole kings and their stank populace
last city was Elzhi..north of Bedstuy, where that Biggie guy and Tupac first kissed.

I am the third member in the holy TRINITY,
That's why no mortal's kombat can ever finish me,
It had been passed for me to present this future,
Lies are but the truth TAINTED cause everyone knows the truth hurts,
but is truth worth the SLUM VILLAGE where we all live in,
Our own lies live our lives and so it's given,
Silence is death so we like to speak noise,
the 3 chosen from the hidden chambers up in DETROIT,
We are captured and held as prisoners can someone free me?,
Fight for our courage stand proud the chosen T3,
Kept quiet for thier devices no truth can ever fathom,
The 2nd chosen to speak the truth one nation under god's many sons the acclaimed BAATIN,
Hiding in ourselves are our own images as love yells while our hate whispers,
Transforming everyday's struggle ELZHI the shapeshifter,
3 chosen, 3 holdin, the 3 unfoldin Tragedy,
if life goes on we start to percieve what's really happenin,
We all live just to perish and ascend to unmeasurable heights,
This is the true meaning the real reason for life.

I feel the same way & know what you mean/
& ya'll are the reason I've been feelin' the "Detroit" scene/

rules: use the words “Slum Village,” “Trinity”, “Detroit”, “tainted” and the band members names “T3”, "Baatin”, and “Elzhi”

From the *villages* to the *slums*,
a new *trinity's* come
to replace Father, Mother, and Son
with *tainted* visions of sex, money and guns
Images transmitted on T3 cables
of cloned fetuses with cybernetic navels
faceless, connected to the Matrix
and worse, medical patients
placed in scientific experiments
Slavery re-enacted
to rebuild the pyramids
in the heart of Detroit
Stockbrokers buy souls to exploit
Yet luckily there remains two
freedom fighters, who came through
to liberate the masses
Baatin to raise it up
Elzhi spitting "hypnoptical gases"
to organize this confused
state of affairs
using music as a muse to stay
awake and aware

my pilgrimage to the slum village reveals the image of correction,
I avoid flashy gimmicks in lyrics to gain attention,
It's the wicked stigma that prevents the instant vintage but I only deal with real game and never dabble in a scrimmage.
I drop paradigms, well read between line vicinities, because my mind defines rhymes of the divine slum trinity.
T3, Baatin and Ehlzi formulate the trilogy,
They spit verse and coerse the crowds of detroit rock city.
They exploit the plot simply, and proceed to make history by exposing fake miniatries wihtin the taintd industry.
This composition was sparked by premonitions and marked by inner visions of the op {okayplayer} coalition, I read it like religion

my holy trinity begins with’s it’s ending, no pretending
graitious divinity and the purity it lends me, blends beats
trying to shake off my disguise more red eyed than t3
from Detroit to D.C. my head knocks the noggin on Elzhi
what you trying to tell me? Catch Baatin slippin like a vegan with red meat
eager to break bread check my spreadsheets, strictly elite
discreet tongue rigid from these slum village streets
while you hum diligent, I’m just trying to reinvent
put my soul on paper like you can see through my skin
but can’t see my face got it wrapped like some muslin
phat like cheesecake, I’m devoted like a muslim
relaxed yet uncontrollable, locked loaded and quoatable
reiteration, I’m like a magistrate with notable quoatation
compassionate elation, spit rhyme condensation
infinite patients like the county line for free medications
weary of the tainted I declare emancipation

The "Holy Land" Detroit has brought forth to us a Trinity
Three niggas from D-town have just shown to us infinity,
and whatever it might be with your belief in divinity,
Slum Village has ability to take proverbal virginity.

Just check with super duper duper tantric master Baatin
Cause his love for Allah will never ever ever be forgotten.
and he's just one of a group of three straight out of Conant Garden.
A reminder to ancient Eden and the apple that is rotten.

the next is a man with whom you want to become acquainted
when you want to see the heart of a soul that's never been tainted,
he sounds the same - he never claim to be something he "ainted".
Elzhi might be the first man that Allah will want sainted.

There's no going wrong a with a producer like T3
he pushes the limits to definitely a higher degree,
cause it's gotta be like that, cause its gotta be
a finale for the hardest group of niggas who break free.

i'll say T3, Baatin and Elzhi just for the hell of it/
poor start, but i dont give a f**k cause i'm celibate/
though a slum village, its not decadent but elegant/
so sick i need some medicine, i represent the heaven sent/
that is, the holy trinity--its likeness found nowhere--/
consisting of my mouth, the mic and your ears/
all the b-boys flock wit' me to detroit rock city/
the market is tainted, you think you see my stock shitty?/
thats a negative my bretharen/
whether lite or full of melanin/
at night we roll out yet again/
to fight the war that never ends/
battle equipped, when my strategy rips/
the revolution will be picked up by satelite ships/
yes, it will be televised, to watch while we all exercise/
and start a fresh diet: through our tender lives they've fed us lies/
the devil tries to make your goal to watch your cheddar rise/
some choose to measure lives by wealth and fame but never i/
to end it all up, SV's a set of guys that never die/
but the stingy bastards had to go and pick such a ghetto prize...

...its all love though ;)...

I am entering this into the contest eberybodie (everybody), okay? Good, here goes:

My name is WILLIAM and I'm HYPE enough to punch
you in your BELLY, ask NAS am I SINCERE/
Wack MCs hatin' my guts, I'm leavin' them miffed/
Embarrass you in battles, have you cats pleadin' the fifth/
Don't need the heat with the clip, to rip through ya bone
and tissue/
Keepin' your styles "tainted" and I'm always prone to dis you/
Leavin' boards I lace blazin'/
While I punch your mouth with a force so strong
that it'll leave your face caved in/
All praise you receive is overstated/
Like a movie that's both R & PG-13, you're overrated/
Every rhyme that comes from my head will lacerate ya'/
Your weak response was late like dead procrastinators/
Like "T3","Baatin" and "Elzhi"/
I'll turn into "Trinity", triple teaming you with
me, myself, and I/
About to come pillage/
and destroy your "slum village"/
'Til it's in worse condition than a ocean with
oil drum spillage/
The winner like breakin' the tie at the buzzer with 3 points/
Want to say whassup to my relatives up in "Detroit".

Maaan!!! I had SEVERE writer's block when I wrote (typed) this! This is the best I could do today, blah. This verse CAN be spit audibly, so it isn't some impossible verse that can only exist in written form. You just have to know when to pause, slow it down, and speed it up. Multi-syllabic flow in short. If you like it, cool. If not, oh well, I won't lose any sleep.

I am the greatest super-human being to ever grace GOD's green earth. I am the supreme extrodinaire! Love me, adore me, laud me with all of your affectionate words! Say my name with tears streaming down your cheeks as you smile with a warm feeling saturating your puny little hearts!

the kiss of the dragon, committed to my anthems
worldwide hustle my mind is my bandwidth
everytime i step out the crib, it's gold rush
influenced by summer solstice but cold crush
plush interior, inferior souls rush
to ya side when you shine till you don't know who to trust
but
deeper than skin deep is instinct
in sync with universal law peep flaws when men speak
it'll guide you out of those valleys and twin peaks
quicker than n***z on ten speeds
believe me
the village cant sleep, the city never rests
eight million tales, most of them hideous
my duty as a griot is spinning them effortless
like charlottes web from a carolinian edifice
i used to be an angel till i broke one of my wings
and stumbled through hell f****n with drunkards and fiends
then destiny beckoned me to reborder my space
and find the balance of trinity within the order of grace...

avoid licking monkey balls and spittin like it if you do.

Just joshing.. I can spell.
ok, check it out *stretching*, hmmmm.... here we go

thought word action, non matter ether,
i'm trinity incarnate, a student's principle teacher
tainted healing and cleansed
intense tense not easily convinced
by the mask of a moccasin
in graceful meditation like baatin
until everything about me is merely but an image
nightcrawler walk through the walls of a Slum Village
save the children before nightfall through voice
my mind is a motor city similar to detroit
gears, engines, assembly workers only free
for lunch and tea at 3 with T3
back to work fool, we got a world to save
sumkid sharp gave the face of the world a close shave
i gave you razor bumps and mountains if you never felt high
and you new to the picture like marty mcfly and elzhi
each creation is like a cigarette after sex
contradictory, deadly and monumental at best
fresh mc buddy never needed help
i don't have to speak my mind cus it speaks for itself...

What Chall think... i used all of the required words plus the ones from the SV's last album

"i dont know" why everybody "falls in love"
cus "CB4" we "get dis money," its got to come to push and shove
yeah i know it's "tainted" but we know "what's it all about"
"raise it up" "players" and "go ladies" but stop and watch ya mouth
this is strictly "2U4U," when you come to these "detroit" streets
whether it's the east or the west "Slum Village" is still gonna eat
the fantastic four. No we talkin a fantastic three. T3, Baatin, and Elzhi, it's a trinity.
so i leave you with this message, stay away from "climax" so you can keep ya "eyes up" when you here
cus Chedda Boys Forever Boys will stick a Nine in your ear

This is as simple as it gets
I'm the Past, the Present, & the Future
so whack m.c.'s need the repent
and bow down to the force
of the one man Trinty
move aside or suffer the penalty
of staying in my vicinity
cause i rock cities like Detroit
the technical rapper
so call me the rappin Chris Benoit
or just call me the one
cause the rest aint it
deceived by the mirror image
that's why your world lies Tainted
using painted pictures to diguise the truth
knowing you can't handle it
that's why you rebuke
I'm here to make you feel it
comin to raise it up
like I'm from camp Slum Village
look if you need my help
please just ask it
I even got T3, Elzhi, and Baatin
sending me fanmail, telling me I'm fantastic
I know you can't stand it
that's why I do it
to let you know I got it
and to let you know you blew it

My soul has been through hell and documented by senesters
we got Ministers being local Priministers
Illusions of another life trapped in Cold Walls
Tainted is my vision thinking i could save all
Subdued in this Slum Village with only one way to get out
And I’m praying to my Creator everyday to help me out
But in Detroit City it’s hard cause you strive for Mo’ Town
Holding firm belief in the Trinity never being let down
I know we holding the crown T3,Baatin, Elzhi and I
Coming Profound and Persistent with this dose of LIFE
Given and Taken unto the whole earthly dimension
Seeing 4th world countries more stuck in positions

I did this to the "Fall in Love Remix" instrumental.....

Sittin in bed, I think about this brand new day/
With thoughts in my head of headin' a different way/
I keep images painted in a subconscious manner/
As "Tainted" plays on the system, I re-phrase my visions
to a world full of slander/
Out the crib full of candor, I begin to feel affinity/
To combine 3 elements together forming one "Trinity"/
Spit game easy like "T3", so nothin' could freeze me/
With a spirit like "Baatin" I won't let this feelin leave me/
A higher frame of mind like "Elzhi", never let the well dry/
Without the 'dro I still felt high/
Gazing down people on the streets, I could melt eyes/
Life is what you make it, don't let others tell u different/
When the pressure's mounting, let yaself fly like a griffen/
Cuz u can do the flippin', raise heat up in that kitchen/
That you call ya brain, make change, make a new addition/
From NY to "Detroit" keep the music pumpin' like pistons/
No deaf ears shall fall when you listen to this verbal pillage/
Cuz I'm rockin' it with the best, the crew called "Slum Village"!

waiting on the come, of the messiah to heal it

it’s all tainted

thelonious like t3, baatin and elzhi
see we, your problem now tell me
the progression a divine entity
me and mine a sign of a trinity
if only you could read my mind- soul and body
you’ll see this crime was chosen properly

.Yo….my head shots will have blood streaming out your knot like dreadlocks / I'll wreck these tainted cats for free, f**k an X-Box!!!!!
I exceed in speeds of T3's and fiber optics / then rip this whole board into scripts and text documents
Who's stoppin' it???…..not OkayPlayer or the Trinity / it'll simply be a pity to offend this lyrical entity
I keep my L's high (Elzhi) when blazin' Haitian rolled by Cajuns / simply put…..I'm greater than your greatest expectation
My 3rd eye vision has me existing in three dimensions / in pyramids my lyric's written in hieroglyphic inscriptions
Theses bitches lack the wisdom to cipher in my division / my lyrical incisions severs headz like circumcisions
And worse than this, all of Detroit knew that I was merciless / no matter how many rounds you spit, I'm always the first to hit
You know what the deal is!….I wrap (rap) headz like Baatin before I pillage / and have Jay Dee beggin' to come back to Slum Village
I'm out of this world like comets / you'll think I'm Sadam when my bomb hits / I use to spit on the mic, but now I vomit
You "Hoes" know I'm the "Star", it's "Insane" how you "Slumber" / "Let's" "Get Live" with "Harmony", on this board "One" is my number

Just copped trinity past present and future,
Now in order to keep it together i need sutures,
My mind took a journey to slum village,
once there i began to pillage,
the insights in the rhymes of T3 Baatin and Elzhi,
The world today is but a picture painted,
With a broad brush and paint that's tainted,
T3 kicks sh*t frequently,
and subsquently his kicks'll be smelling indecently,
These cats from Detroit get to the point with haste,
Anyobody who hate SV gets trinity in their mouth to change their musical taste,
Commercial cats are babies, they should be rollin' in carriages,
When the world hears SV, their carreers will end suddenly like celebrity marriages,
Baatin is not known to keep you waitin but he spits game that keeps the ladies faintin',
Elzhi will not comply with guys that deny him props for lyrical supply,
Funny how unlike in trinity these boards are devoid of the n-word,
must just be us white boys postin' , how absurd,
Yes the name is Dezazarous i'm hazardous like skin cells that are cancerous,
no need for explicit lyrics labels cuz I have to use stars when i cuss,
Britney's a hoe, using her body to get paid,
The preceding rhyme was brought to you by a kid in the 11th grade,
SV pick me instead of a 33 year old emcee with no need to play VG's,
And keep spreadin the word like a contagious disease.

Here is the Intro, transmitted from Maine /
Slum Village is the Choir, they must be Insane /
What Is This from T3, Baatin and Elzhe /
Trinity is here, it seems Tainted to me /
I gotta go eazy, La La's got me all bent /
Just stare at the sky and bump 7 All Ta Ment /
Finish the blunt and hit Detroit Disco /
a brief Interlude, liquor store to get Cisco /
leave the club around One with a couple of Hoes /
Interlude time again and off with her clothes /
You gotz ta be smooth and play the big Star /
Hit it and them Slumber in the back of the car /
Wake her with Soul, Marvelous last night was /
What's That All About u know what it does /
When you hear I Love You you really must strive /
we'll Get Live all night, this B in your hive /
Harmony once again, can I get it times three? /
Who Are We baby, Fall In Love, lady please! /
I want it like D'Angelo, Untitled /
now get back on your knees/

Let’s do this like ELZHI did on Disco/
Truly Unique like BAATIN does with his flow/
Like T3 this is the All-Ta-Ment, not to mention/
It’ll only take One rhyme for me to take this competition/
I’m gonna be the star today/
But I’m not gonna talk bout the Love U Hate/
So lets bring on the SOUL/
I’m Slum Village like with this mic control/
With the Tainted joint SV showed the Hoes/
That they didn’t need to comprise as far as music goes/
Still dropping hits, they still Get Live/
With Harmony, unity, they age well with time/
What is This? Trinity blew up. straight from Detroit/
Just Like Em, 5’9” and Jay Dee did with his joint/
Who Are We? We’re those OK Players/
Waking up those conscious rap cats from the Slumber/
With the real Hip-Hop, The Roots, Dilated, D’Angelo, Kweli/
Soulive, Jazzies, Common Sense, the way music should be/

Ok, not the greatest verse, but you can’t blame a guy for trying this writing lyrics thing, been a big SV fan.

ALright, i didnt know that the guy that posted before me did the same thing i did, so much for my originality, my bad.

All right then, it's my turn to start rhymin, I don't mean to cause pain, but my rhymes will strike you like lightning, and lightning will bury you and put you in your coffin, the action "tainted" is used way too often, Slum Village is dope and Detroit is never stopping, I'm swinging and not missing, like Kenny Lofton, it's like the Matrix cause trinity is causing problem's.I'm on the net and T3 is the ultimate connection, When it comes to freestyling, there is no competition,,and I'm always the winner when I'm on the board of contestants, confusion, it's natural, so it's all right if you're wrong when you're guessing, questioning, and estimating, who're the greatest Mcs, well here's three, T3, Baatin, and Elzhi, there's no debating, arguing
would just be complicating, The Village is up there with BEP and I'm not overrating. Upcoming Mcs, like them roots that are Nappy, who's better, I don't know, but they both make me happy. Can relate to all generations like my grandpappy, talking about good subjects, not Ja Rule and his money with the bad love songs, too sappy.

7641, check the story

I remember the first time I saw Slum Village perform/ November of 2000, Hammerstein Ballroom, far from warm/ three hours is how long I waited in line for/ so I could catch the action from the front row at the Okayplayer tour/ these cats from Detroit came on stage and said whats up?/ then they got wild and made all of New York fuckin raise it up/ during a high energy sequence T3 and Baatin got down low and back to back/ I got the picture with my disposable so if necessary I could prove that/ the show was dope but my memory of it is a little tainted/ the girl next to me that I was dancing with got so excited that she fainted/ concert ended so I went to go cop a shirt from the back/ got the last one with the tour roster, Okayplayer logo, plus it was black/ now almost two years later I'm met with the challenge of writing this rap/ and I have a new SV CD, thank god, hip hop was getting wack/ brought on Elzhi and on August 13th they dropped Trinity/ if the music world was right, the album sales would reach infinity/ to all the judges, come on you can't ignore me/ better read this shit again because it's a true story

the use of metaphors is devastin'/inflatin'/ to excellence or supreme/ stay on point like 'Detroit' Red Wings/ grab the mic and rip out the interior/watch my verb spillage/ i'll leave you duckin and hidin in a 'SLum Village'/ i'm climbin for the green like Jack and the Beanstalk/ doin' more tricks on boards than Tony Hawk/ when I kick a freestyle, ask 'Baatin' how he feels/ he says "you hold down weight like Oprah on treadmills"/ i believe in CApital Punishment like I was Big Pun/ i'm callin you 'Trinity' cuz you fell in love with the chosen one/ he's lyrically upgraded highly anticipated/ rhymes regurgitated and haters is dialated/ what's my life agenda, tryin to get on wit 'T3'/ so we can take over the world like Brain and Pinky/ leavin ya face painted 'tainted' , staright distorted/ not the CAnibus man but I can get retarted/and any hypnatic actin faggot causin static/ with disappear quick like David Copperfield magik/ still throwin verbal darts, hittin the bullseye/ blowin up more shit than Elzhi and Bill Nye/ you got no choice but to feel this, niggas can't knock it/ this game is over, 8 ball in the side pocket

Hope the
whole world opens their eyes, and don't sleep this
time 'cause what's droppin' is sound and deep, a
leap for hopkind, 3rd pitch on point, Slum
Village, 1 vision, 1 love from Detroit. Many
roots but one trunk, no weeds on the field, strong
seeds have been sown, this year's crop - high yield.

So heed the
lesson of this jiggaless rhyme that's tru', in-
spired by the members of the Trinity crew.

Slight
change, newcomer, welcomed all the more, but that
3-faced tetrahedron, it should really have four, Baatin T-
3, Elzhi - this round's line of defence, & Jay-
Dilla's sniper shadow, SIXTH VOWEL on the fence.

If the
state of HIPHOP has got you feelin' blu', then feed your
mind, heart and soul with a thump that's tru'.

Painted
beats, torch-bearers of a sound that's that's not tainted.
Pure as HER love affair with Native Tongues, sainted by Ab-
stract for what was - is and shall be: for those
ears on the hear-here, this flow's for free.

Past, Present, Future: what was, is and shall be: this
rhyme's for the now, this one's 4 3.

I never smoke weed but I get Elzhi
With the trio who always got their eyes on the prize
That's SV from the D,
Past Present and Future,
"Y'all beefin with Dilla, man? Yo, I heard a rumor"
They said chill with that talk,
He blessed us somethin' major,
We'll all have 'em yellin' "okay, player"!
Word on the street is that the SV returned,
Tainted is dope and y'all should've learned!
The bandwagon came by and y'all just hopped in,
Put on some headphones
and harnessed the energy of Baatin!
The new CD of the trilogy
Is called Trinity,
You might've copped it through your wired T3
And yo, I'm might not be a Detroit emcee,
But I figure I should cop an XBOX for free
This rhyme is instant vintage,
But it's not about the image,
I guess I'm just livin' in a slum village.

Cattiva "The Lyrical Lunatic"

I'm the craziest woman on the freestyle board!
I leave weak MC's "Tainted" lying in the local morgue.
75% Sicilian 25% deranged, born in a "Slum Village"
raised clinically insane.
From "Detroit" to Brewcity, I release the nitty gritty,
oneday I'll be a legend like 'Lil Kim's bare titty.
Don't like my flows, my clothes, my low blows?
Then don't come to my shows when I'm extremely well known.
I only write words I can feel in my bones and I only attack
when you cast the first stone.
Gangsta rap or shock rap, whatever you may like.
I'm a Cancer and I'm moody, my style switches every night. My skin is white too but don't call me shady lady, nothing
against Slim, it's just I'm not him. But I wish I was Kim cause I'd be f*#king Eminem, two or three doses a night like medicine.
This is just a demonstration of what will soon be, Cattiva on T.R.L. and B.E.T. So "Trinity", keep a look out for me to "Baatin", "Elzhi" and to "T3" keep rockin' the M.I.C. for eternity.

Uh-oh, here comes another one
One of those rumblin' tumblin'/
Type of beats to have
Your eardrums tremblin'/
And here they go again
Floatin right over it/
Potent vocal emotion
From Detroit, it's Slum Village/
Damn it hit's. . .
So what the damage is/
When they combine their manuscripts
And handle this/
Kids are panic strick
Their ego's need bandages/
As their delusions of grandeur
Vanish quick, Like blood so thick/
This trinity will
Never break or bend/
Smoother than sin
As they blend like juice and gin/
Throwing caution to the wind
Accosting these hip hop trends/
And it don't stop till the sun goes dim
And the earth can't spin/
And the moon won't glow
Cause it has no light to reflect/
And the blackhole that was once the sun
Sucks us into it's vortex/
As long as T3, Baatin, and Elzhi
Have mic's to check/
I'll be bouncin' to this Tainted track
Like Seattle rain bouncin' off my Gortex/
Much respect

The past volumes brings the present and sets the future
Slum Village brings the Trinity to develop the picture
To see they could do it without Jaydee
You know they still rep'in the D
Making it easier than one two three
Using Elzhi, Baatin, and T3
Uplifting Hip Hop to a new level
Burying MCs with more than a shovel
Using their music to reach
To Teach
To Greet and get people on their feet
The game has been too tainted
This album was highly anticipated
True fans have eagerly waited
Time to end the rhyme and get to the point
Slum Vill is the tightest group out of Detroit
Now bow your heads and feel the music
And hear what is truly... good music

I heard once it takes a slum village to raise a manchild into an emcee\\
and to a small degree i guess that's me reppin habitually\\
for the ville and dc and with the help of EMPECI on the beat\\
guess you could also say i rep for Detroit partially so within me is a ghetto trinity\\
i gots an affinity for using this identity to flow from here to infinty\\
bet bamas brains blown like the grass knoll and J.F. Kennedy\\
because behind your lines I spot an enemy you wannabes is tainted\\
talkin only of relationships gone jaded jewelry payments and arraignments\\
while me baatin elzhi and t3 speak the whole picture over these arrangements\\
for souls like a seance strange aint it?\\
that you really thought you were keepin' it real\\
the whole time half steppin to your people just to get deal\\
so in a way I watch you impersonate Daddy Kane for paper\\
and I'm not Biz Markie but pardon me you still got the vapors\\
I bring it all together like staples in staplers for my neighbors\\
welcome to the light minus your redundant and repugnant statements\\

I ride the street hearing trinity / musically a relationship with Elzhi, Baatin, and T3 / See we from the same vacinity detroit is the city / even though the football team is shitty / we stay true to our identity / as you get my ability / emcees show their instability / with tainted thoughts of insanity / spitting off infertility / the shots are blank with no expressivity / lacking credibility / with complex complexity which overloads your mental capacity / slum village and I are some next type of polarity / North and South properties in a hip hop society /

It's the three illest emcees in your vicinity,

Now you're into me, I'm spittin' infinite lines,
Inclined to kick a rhyme, enter into your mind,
Gotcha mesmerised, images, words vividly painted,
Defacin' every track I touch, leavin' 'em TAINTED,
Y'all are mad delusional, Cee-For, I be a realist,
But I know that ain't no doubt in your mind that I'm the illest,
I'm hot, even sensory deprived cats'll feel this,
When it comes to rockin' tracks I'm Fantastic like SLUM VILLAGE,

they got paler as the word spread that milk came to nail ya/
then they scattered to spots like spain, china, korea & australia/
i dropped off radar, then i came back bad like john voight/
where in the hell did you think i was gonna go, to DETROIT?/
just a minute while i put dents in the mic & leave it TAINTED/
kinda scary ain't it, 'cause when i stepped in the room, these cats fainted/
then i painted the monitors wit' their hemoglobin, clear-coated with plasma/
& ran rings around their azz 'til they were gaspin' with asthma/
run fast or take a lash to the back, 'cause i'm a master/
you got the speed of T3 on 2Gig, 3? i'm much faster/
get in line, whose mind can wrangle wit' mine, there be no one/
i'll leave your azz as obscure as 3t -- tito's sons/
got a one? put it with nine other ones, then you can play/
'cause skills cost ten bucks around here and you gotta pay/
you better pray 'cause it's gon' take the TRINITY to get wit'me/
go get a baton or a baatin, 'cause you'll get a beatin' tryin' to spit wit'me/
see i'm a thinker, milky be for the mind, one of a kind/
while you stand in front of the SLUM, VILLAGE people behind/
kind of an awkward position to be in; you see what i'm sayin'?/
i'm sayin' i came to slaughter fathers, sons & daughters, i ain't playin'/
see i'm ruthless, i'll have heads on the horn callin' home/
talkin' 'bout "ma, he won't leave me alone!" -- gimme the phone/
legend has it that their mothers were last heard to yell "why"/
they should've asked of ELZHI if i don't make church bells cry/
i bet right now you can think of a million other places to be/
'cause i'm a schizo, you'll get beat by the 3 faces of ME/
drilled in the head with rights, lefts, and metaphors/
spectators'll clap as if they had the worst of nights with the best of whores/
hot like fire -- i'm takin' these cats higher than james brown/
i don't know why they wanna test me when i'm the best man around/
hands down, cause if you put your hands up, you gettin' stuck/
out of luck, kinda like oj when he got out the truck/

It’s not about images
It’s about being how the “Slum Village” is
Reaching people at various distances

The kicker is
You’re “Tainted” so you try to bicker, but it’s apparent
You’re fake like your flatinum and zirchon necklace is

You’re des-per-ate
A non-believer in the “Trinity”
“Baatin”, “Elzhi”, and “T3”
a diff-er-ent force of energy
Straight from the Slums of “Detroit”
Most crews are devoid
of any substance
that’s why emcees remain as decoys

So I ex-ploit your weaknesses
Destroy your speaker kits
Blowin’ out amplifiers
While SV just keeps releasing hits

It’s Breinchild of Nonpareilyx
Throw emcees over terraces
For embellishing facts causing embarrassment.

i shouldn't win with this one, but it was fun....

hey holmes her drawls dropped quick, thighs so thick,
said she wanted a trinity, and called over some chick,
i didn't know names but clearly knew the game,
shorty gave that slow crane, until the doorbell rang,
answered the door wit no shame, skirt and panties right beside me,
in walked her friend looking all beautiful and lively,
and i wondered could i be, dreamin a wet one,
wake up mad than a mutha, woody needin affection,
broad's friend was a red bone, quickly make herself at home
gave me sum detroit love, as kitty grabbed the bone,
although fresh outta the gate i had to sit up straight,
knew what she was doing, on tha real, had to concentrate,
meanwhile, shorty rock what searching for Red's spot,
musta stuck gold, cuz red suddenly stopped,
let out a moan of pleasure nad then got herself together,
took a brotha deep and face kept gettin redder,
moved in to the bedroom, laid Shawty on the edge,
penetrated slow, shawty cringed and shook her head,
her girl stayed behind me massagin the twins,
kept givin em french kisses, all i could do was grin,
then i had her move, my cool i'm bout to lose,
she straddled shawty's face, then old russell grew,
hungry for more, of that nanni for papi,
felt so good i need to smack somebody,
so i, bent over, hit it from the postierior(sp?),
red turned over, the sight made me feel supierior,
long story short, we kept a bang until Red couldn't hang,
even then me and shawty kept held the flame as we our thang,
and as days changed and we finished, my energy diminished,
i whispered "happy birthday shawty", couldn't speak a sentence,
kissed them both on the cheek, then heard the voice of T3,
baatin and elzhi, slum villiage was speakin to me
turned the stereo up a notch, walked in the living room to sit.
*singin*"tainted"...well, if the shoe fits...

let it start, let it go
release you mind real slow
drop to trinity, to infinity
let it marinade in ya dome
forget how ya only God was just molested by the pope
and ya slum village turned to slum country
to slum world with SLIM hope
forget how that 10 year old boy in Detroit
saw The Terminator 3 then shot his brother from blank point
point blank this place is tainted and these cats don't realize
but I see the manefestation and its burnin' in my eyes
we are what we perceive
and when we look we can't believe
so T3, Baatin, Elzhi, we need your rythm poems
to ease the pain that our mother earth
is slowly passing on

Ayo', messin' with Detroit well leave your mind destroyed,
and rebuilt stronger than titanium alloy
god bless the trinity,
a meta-physical entity,
blessd to take hip-hops virginity,
snatchin' the feminity of tracks, with Elzhi, T3, and Baatin,
towns get Pillaged wit' the force of a slum village
minds get painted,
and love eventually gets tainted
with the speed of a nuclear reactor
fill the heads of emcees with maniacal laughter
and then demolish em',not to stick around for the disaster after,
noone can surpass the master
who runs through cities trying to annihilate demonic chapters
and verbal sciences
rendeering everyone usless, like an broken appliance
In the name of Allah, please, performed with much ease, we travel through Detroit like a swarm ok killa bee's

come on man...
From the Heartbeat to DETROIT, dark streets to SLUM VILLAGES
We're rebuilding this Hip-Hop art so (Let's) start
(Get Live) on the (Disco) in (Harmony) we spit flow
To a J-Dilla beat that's insane for realla
My name is Handella, but Handel for short
Hip-Hop is no game, time to kill the sport
This is the 1st and 2nd (Intro) to an all new time
Constellation status not you average (Star) that shines
Type of artist so honest you can hear my (S.O.U.L.)
Contemplating S.uicide O.ver U.nfit L.ove, listen
(La La) (U-N-I sexed) then (Slumbered) that was meant to be
But I never (Fall In Love) with (Hoes) that all you meant to me
I (Love U Hate) me, I already fucked you
(Who Are We)? not a couple, that's all that you get
Trying to Get Dis Money, what kind of life you lead
(One) that's (Tainted), funny, but a wife's what I need
All-Ta-Ment MC, hesitate and you die
"BAATIN levitatin up in the sky"
"T3 give yourself respect"
Would've added Volume 2 titles but it's been done by Elzhi
My hell's eye sees vision, cuffs to wrists (What Is This)
I'm the TRINITY in (One), the father and the son
the Holy Spirit is my lyrics, I'm far from being dead
Y'all can't even hear it but still I know y'all noddin your heads.

* must contain the words “Slum Village,” “Trinity”, “Detroit”, “tainted” and the band members names “T3”, "Baatin”, and “Elzhi”

Yo love is the motto/
Let's keep it low like Angie Stone on vibrato/
I'll make you moan in staccato/
Your friend want to come too?/
Just checkin boo/
Ever since "Climax" I've been lookin for two/
But girl you know it's just me and you/
Sensual/
I'm all up into you/
Kissin/
Pumpin like a Detroit Piston/
And we can listen/
Slum Village bust the melody/
Graced by T3, Baatin, and Elzhi/
Slow track of "Trinity"/
I'm headed to infinity/
Lost in your divinity/
"Tainted" playin softy/
Your love inspires me/
Your soul enlightens me/
It's love/
It's love/

I was lost one night, believing hip hop had died/ why?/ because most tunes sound slack and wack not equiped for my backpack/ then i bumped into trinity/ one-third of slum village's album entity/ supplied myself with enough energy/ to keep my soul grooving till year infinity/ who is responsible for how i feel?/ blame a trio of detroit emcees/ elzhi, baatin and last not least T3/ critiques thought they couldn't pull off a next one without Jay Dee/ yet to my surprise they renewed my faith in EsVee/ how could I ever doubt the three, countinuously redifining the term: master of ceremony/ my thoughts must been tainted, because I was watched some BET/ clever wordplay, instrumenting their voices to hipnotic beats/ i guess it comes easily, when you have the chance to express oneself freely and explore innovation creatively

I rep the Slum, Village where they pillage for sport
Cats resort to blood sport on corners or courts
to Earn my X like that pimp Detroit
Piston a pot and got a Stacked house
Lost takin a back route dead end caught tryin to back out
Surrounded by fiends who shame the people, tainted needles
Mo town sound so vibrant diving past the margin to paint the easel
If shit'll please you they gone bring u the third LP
No sophomore jinx on the brink of a Trinity remembring
Past present and what u facin blazin ELZH-I start actin high
Distracted by this shorty who flirtin Baatin eyes
"I'll be bock" like Arnold in T3 and terminate ya mans plans
Tell dude no need to grand stand like Ja save the performance for hand cams
I'll be Van Damme...bad actors wit the flab factor
I laughs at ya, whole style SSA..ass backwards
Delivery and beat assemb-a-ly sort of resemb-a-ling
Clipped ya red wings and X ya box for the penalty...

it's in the game.

they call me drama cause it follows me around like my shadow, its too alive, breathing, teasin with its smirks and jeers
its not drama like jay and nas created to boost they careers,
jelousy motivates it, cant see me without it,
saw me happy with my girl, ran away broke down and pouted
came back with another girl, made me notice her like look wat i got,
it had me trapped, found my weaknesses, exploited them, went straight to the climax forgettin the plot
everyone has their own drama they handle with care,
to get through jus remember wat drama did, took you outta good times and placed u in the devils lair,
don't matter where u at, it'll be there, the hood, the suburbs, in the Slum Village, Toronto or Detroit,
its got u on lock like GPS, ya have to keep fillin the void
cleanse ya mind with love, never tainted pure like virginity,
T3, Baatin, and Elzhi form a Trinity

Q said he gonna leave it in the hands of the Slum now/
Their palms grasping the crowd and there's no doubt/2
That their madd flava, gonna make them dudes Raise Up/
Vamoose to loose crews thinkin Villah bout the paper/4
They about mad skillz, microphone twistin/
Manipulating the masses with accurate diction/6
Real hip-hop on the writer's block ain't tainted/
It’s a work of art like a Van Gogh painting/8
All colors moving in a 3 part Harmony/
A Trinity of niggas flowing over bomb beats/10
Detroit concrete produced em, Jay Dee's joints juiced em/
Fantastic Volume 2 introduced em/12
Now BET wanna boost em on the top 10 and/
Push em like this LP was just the beginning/14
But little did they really know "Tainted" didn't make em blow/
Happened way back in the streets before the video/16
Rapping wit Baatin and T3, they the kings/
Young blood Elzhi spitting em lyrical things/18
He brings, a different dimension to the Slum/
With dense, comprehensive sentences making him second to none/20
When they are combined they hit the body, soul and mind/
Straight spitters that have the power to control the rhyme/22
Respect due to Slum Village, hip-hop's elite/
Diligent catz, and you know catz always land on they feet.24

There's this TRINITY with an affinity to lyrically
Represent a SLUM VILLAGE that was once charged politically
This is a litany to tell, DETROIT history
Cuz obviously we gotta change it's TAINTED imagery.
Specifically the story starts in the 60's see
Literally race riots burned the town viciously.
And business BE -gan declinin' for the biggest three
Automotive industry giants was needin' sympathy.
The epitome of de-population
But then Beat Generation came with a deep operation.
They sent JAY DEE and SV to leak out the stations
Who did it with 'ELZ-HI' puffin' weed out the basements.
Now they X-boxin' with BAATIN on the weekly
And bout to get they own brand of whips the model T3
Fo-Shezi, it wasn't easy for these emcees
Tigers with Red Wings representin' 313.

It's me yo, Dee, the rap Neo, girls got my back like TRINITY
Subliminally killin' with this song, I'm this strong
Ballin like DETROIT, that's the point you'll get pist-on (4)
For tryin' to dis what I stated, you're style's TAINTED
You can sketch with the best but I'll paint it, it's wild ain't it?
Still learnin, I'm hella fly
Over ya head like BAATIN's turban, 'come get it' like ELZHI (8)
You can't be me, can't beat me
Bring your best Terminators, T2s and your T3s
Ya still weak B, discreetly
Fade y'all, call y'all Ray Charles, you still can't see me (12)
Plus I'll play y'all, and I collect props
Gamin' wack cats way before the X-Box
And wherever anyone of y'all from'll feel it
From the wealthiest neighborhood to the dirtiest SLUM VILLAGE (16)

my motivation so sick
they should set aside my occupation
for supplying the nation with scripts thats highly toxic
waste run through my cerebral faucets
my thoughts on call with direct lines to presidential offices
later for washington, be in DETROIT deep as a canyon
instead of a white house, keep a black mansion
no cabinet just a TRINITY of advisors
ELZHI tell the future
BAATIN keep me up on knowledge of my past
T3 handle the present
giving presents to the local SLUMs and VILLAGEs who never had
nothing, but the realest citizens in my division
they see i'm true the heart
definition of my inner vision
together us four will run society
providing supplies of the shiniest to TAINTED listeners
wishfully thinking conscious trynna win this contest and show variety
while sincerity and honesty coincide in me

there you have it fellas, read carefully (if necessary), choose wisely.

now i'mma drop a list of things that make rap my forte/
like i'm a great speaker, nickname Bose/
at times i watch what i say/
and take a stab at delay/
then later pick the scabs of early lacerations of day/
now my lips abrasive/
it burn when i speak/
and brothas, brace themselves cause i'm armed to the teeth/...

Ignore my first posting: I've changed a line to better the flow (I think...)

Hope the
whole world opens their eyes, and don't sleep this
time 'cause what's droppin' is sound and deep, a
leap for hopkind, 3rd pitch on point, Slum
Village, 1 vision, 1 love from Detroit. Many
roots but one trunk, no weeds on the field, strong
seeds have been sown, this year's crop - high yield.
So heed the
lesson of this jiggaless rhyme that's tru', in-
spired by the members of the Trinity crew.

Slight
change, newcomer, welcomed all the more, but that
3-faced tetrahedron? Scratch that, should have four: Baatin T-
3, Elzhi - this round's line of defence, & Jay-
Dilla's sniper shadow, SIXTH VOWEL on the fence.

If the
state of HIPHOP has got you feelin' blu', then feed your
mind, heart and soul with a thump that's tru'.

Painted
beats, torch-bearers of a sound that's that's not tainted.
Pure as HER love affair with Native Tongues, sainted by Ab-
stract for what was - is and shall be: for those
ears on the hear-here, this flow's for free.

Past, Present, Future: what was, is and shall be: this
rhyme's for the now, this one's 4 3.

all praises due to the ROYAL SLUM VILLAGE,
droppin black gold like OIL DRUM SPILLAGE,
TAINTED LOVE, flyin up the singles charts like a CRANE OR DOVE,
escalating Detroit another PLANE ABOVE,
it's previous level of recognition,
T3, Baatin and Elzhi define redefinition,
I brag to my friends how i just copped the Trinity,
with the pride of a 14 year old who just lost his virginity,
now I'm BUMPIN ANOTHER ANOTHER CLASSIC,
that helps me stay sane in BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC,
I offer a standing ovation, for this creation,
fuck these other crabs I smell a grammy nomination,
I used to say fantastic volume was too HOT TO BE FOLLOWED,
looking back I realize my tongue has GOT TO BE SWALLOWED,

As I peer down the path I gasp, at the straight line
Seeming so easy to get to the other side
but I was blind to all the twists and turns
pitfalls, boobie traps, curves
I feel unloved like a bad perm, stomach squarms
I'm lost, but not hopeless me, drop to my knees
praying to the Supreme to save me
he sent a miracle to me in the form of a Detroit Trinity
They're telling me the cross roads are tainted
Watch where you're going and where your from
If you must take refuge in the villiag of slum
Where the pillars of Baatin, T3, and Elzhi become one
Gardian of the gates that hold back the tribes of hate
Mongering conformists for individualities sake

Standin on my balcony i see the SLUM VILLEGS where we are called ghetto prisoners
not in DETRIOT, but in dc where T3's come to take our young men and lead them astray
minds trianed, only to return to life with thoughts of pistol play
in my bars im reporting past the starts to reach the TRINITY
To inform higher powers about the actions of our en-ne-mies
but my words stay TAINTED,
I seen true pain when my momma fainted off the blood that was painted
My reactions, were to act in what direction?
i move past relfection to spread knowledge in all directions off the battle of BATTANS infection
Through the process of rejection by my father i looked at my life and said "why bother"
I rather learn lessons from my man ELZH
Until i realize the thoughts i vizulized where nuthin but dreams
Life is more than it seems, way past reality
I pray before I go
To be more than just a fatality
But God told me thats just his way of him speakin, so out of SLUM VILLEGS my hands are reachin, for better days
so many lay diyin to find a better way
Therefore if i have to sariccfice my soul for the cause i rather have it no other way

livin' in the Slum Village, can't afford an X-BOX
I represent Detroit Tigers, so fuck the Red Sox
we go vinyl to cassette, cassette to CD
Terminator, T-2, I'll be back: T-3
Detroit, Ace Deuce, Ypsilanti vicinity
Father, Son, Holy Shit! fuckin' up this trinity
I'm tainted, that's right, yo' girl just fainted
I'm Michaelangelo, you rappers are painted
sent Dr. J to Jamaica, he came back Jammin'
sent Barry Bonds to Jamaica, he came back Baatin
'cause I'll Bust Any Ass Tonight If Notified
tryna get to the club but my broke-ass motor died
hitched a ride with a baker who sells pie
Rocked The Bells 'til I busted, straight in L.Elzhi
...so don't charge me with a penalty
I'm just tryna Get Dis Money like JLB
(say, well, he's just a regular rapper)
nah, Welcome 2 Detroit, get hit with The Clapper

...oh yeah, i should probably point out that the names go down the side of the last 3 "stanzas" (i broke them apart so you could spot them easier)

the slum behind my cataracts reminiscing on my village past:
italy and france when living was simple: be happy
but i was plopped a generation away from me
mind was clogged in this nation's race for money
so i reside in a math equation
on the corner of Lie Street & Love-Lack Pavement
my left eye about to crack from aching
pain multiplied by a fraction of "sane-ness"
that's my new sanity | -*-Catholics use Trojan-*- |
pass the neuse and a teen grabs his moment

Break from the days when the Trinity mattered
Aprons, gourmet, and -- kitchen laughter
An engaging table-conversation at dinner: magic
Taking you back to when the little things had passion
I think back when i'd imagine i was barry sanders
Nation-wide, detroit was the voice for all the short and fast kids

Enter the current, i'm currently up the creek
Losing my feet in this current, dreaming of currant sor-b.e.t.
Zipping the wrong direction through this jungle from my me
Heaven waits west
Instead, i'm racing east

TIMES need to change and TIME needs to cease...
3 minutes for my brain til it leaks

make sure to peep the first letter of each line

16 bars....

Songs are forever embraced in a page
Leaving the imagination tainted with my mind's haze
Unless I am influenced by religious trinity
My soul will not be as pure as a women's virginity
Villainous entities like the streets of Detroit
Innocence gets stolen like being coached by Jon Voight
Lifeless, but really true innocence is priceless
Little did I know but I couldn't even fight this
Analyzed, fighting the comparisons to Elzhi
Gaining confidence, my ego's rising, could you tell?
Excellence is golden, your brain I pillage
Sounds the same in the suburb or slum village
Last I heard, I became the beat
Utilizing Baatin’s yoga technique
Mentally relaxed, emotionally free
Via the production quality of Jay Dilla and T3

* must contain the words “Slum Village,” “Trinity”, “Detroit”, “tainted” and the band members names “T3”, "Baatin”, and “Elzhi”

In the village of slum tainted drums beat the rhythms of spoken word fathers from the motor city under gritty words release by Baatin ,Elzhi and T3 heads bop in unison ....giving berth to word play the "star for today" Amazin steps to the podium for the verbal release ova a track feat. Deweli produced by Jay DEE and cosigned by The Trinity we "......keep love from being tainted" while these copycats in anger management raising white flags got 'em surrendering feel the the deal of what's really real when mass appeal cracks through the cement back by everybody in Detroit Michigan to your town ......"Cause that's just the way tainted folks get down "

in one moment of lost divinity
found salvation in Detroit's trinity
Elzhi buzzed flyest lyrics to me
but I was distracted by the words of T3
Baatin stepped up and spit poetry
'bout tainted love and things I shouldn't see
but I fell victim to curiosity
and trespassed on lyrical property

now I'm stuck in a mode of stagnation
looks like a trap instead of salvation
like being taxed, no representation
reborn as a mic from reincarnation

but from the dust I see a black hand
reaching to me like only God can

is there life after verbal spillage?
emphatically yes, it's name is Slum Village

y'all can laugh at me nnnnnnnnnnnnnn-now! lol

Alright people this is a first for me so any criticism at all is welcome.....

Slum Village the divine entity/

Detroit spittin out the sickest threesome since the original

Trinity/ I've been with SV since the Look of Love Pt.1/ They

tell us the air we breathe is poisoned and everyone is quick to

pull a gun/ Video chicks, twenty inch rims, and lots of ice/

It's a shame Mc's Tainted the soul of Hip Hop and then sign away

their life/ Forget the Blazing Arrow I'm bringing the Blazing

Spear/ Hell is taking over Hip Hop and Mc's wondering why Its

gettin Hot in Here/ ChoiceWords I leave souls combined as one/

To some I am the night, hope, and the sun/ We look into the

future for answers/ Little do others know we are surrounded by

cancer/ Lies, Sex, and Video Tape/ Slum Village God's soldiers

breakin through with true faith/ Even though the world crumbles

and hearts turn cold/ Knowledge we have been blessed with/

Elzhi, Baatin, and T3 true leaders of soul/ Doesn't matter your

skin tone definition of life or background/ Angels known as SV

speak to our hearts like surround sound

Aight that's it. Hope Someone enjoys my venting. ChoiceWords

From a young child living in the slums of a village in Jamaica/
To North Americans it was similir to the streets of detroit called Christiana/
I was told that death comes in threes/
And that this world would test your faith in the divine trinity/
Knowing that our faith is essential to life like the hormone called t-3/
I always refer back to the 76th atribute of Allah
Al-Baatin/
Knowing God is greater than man/
Once sitting on the road side listening to the spirit of my grandfather, Hezikiah cry/
And other greats like Zachariah, Melchiah, and Elzhi/
Names symbolic of wisdom/
Lesson one; was that Jesus died with a tainted image by Jews, Gentiles, and religion/
Lesson two; the holy spirit has skipped a generation of black women/
While the evidence is in our hip hop music videos/
Lesson three; was a warning to beware cause politically/
God is our next victim///

my verse.

sent notes to elzhi/
slum village on the horizine/they size ya
and done past the future with the trinity/
t3 and baatin got lyrics that will make you change your identity/
most try to be players, but can't touch the 788/
sexual verses that make you fall in love/get this
you don't want to be on my bad list/
have you in a ditch in detriot/
ryhmes we exploit/
you know what love is!!~ the motovate/illness I create/
I blow up and you deflate/my life styles tainted/like a rusted car you need repainted/
kinda hard to keep a simple mind (really ain't it)
the crowd fainted when they heard music/blast so hard the next town could have used it/spark it up it's the realness don't abuse it/
it's the natural~actual keep things factual/
fly in with the wack and they laugh at you/
from a country street to avenue.

slum village contest entry..

The future becomes the present and the present becomes the past//
And the past exists as memories that doesn't seem to last//
The culture's passin fast... of this picture painted vivid//
Makin sense like bums in slums across a tainted village//
To pillage back the image, of what hip hop was intended//
Left the culture apprehended and the trinity suspended//
Ended the ways of stayin same - searchin for new directions//
These dial-up rappers hafta upgrade to T3 connections//
Strivin for perfection - For a modern day hip hop zion//
And if you think Elzhi's average, then your ass is Detroit 'Lyin'//
Baatin's testifyin the science - Came with the vocals to prove it//
Three entities combined in rhyme - To move as one focal unit//
These fluid music making druids redefining the acoustics//
Scientists of sound- Collectin pounds- With ground breaking movements//
The Fantastic Voyage proved it.. - let em know whose crews the hottest//
Okayplayer dot com S.V- dominatin this 'board' just like Ben Wallace//
Styles modest but flawless - With deep thoughts unfolded//
'Cause the minute that they wrote it, the next second it was quoted//
Holdin fort.. Control the sport with the sound that astounds crowds//
Creatin timeless music still bumped a hundred million years from now//
Getting down from Mo-Town – no one dares to go after see?
‘Cause 2 weeks from now – I’ll have both hands up at the Knitting Factory...

To everyone else.. go support the crew

It's just me myself and I in this Trinity
subtract me from myself
u just got I which is Roman numeral one
if I don't have this contest won
I won't get mad it's all in fun
I ain't no battle mc
I just want an autographed copy cd
from them Detroit cats named Slum Village aka S.V.
group contains members Baatin, Elzhi, and T3
U can see me in 3D
like them Skybox cards
we used to collect & trade in the early nineties
my pen is designed 4 me aerodynamically
like the helmets of athletes that sit on bike seats
pumped up like a girl in a fight holding her opponents weave in victory
some mcs be making me sleepy
I catch so many zees
like the last letter of players surnames in the MLBs
this world is so tainted
I took a poll all over the globe
everyone said ain't it
through all this drama I composed and maintained it
like a person on a bus cheatin' the Subway diet
shh nobody is supposed to know, please keep quiet
well your cover was blown courtesy of me
thats why I'm recruiting chicks for my squad
to flip the birdie to the fake mcs
