funny as fuck...

basically these Bay cats done came up with a
"cousin of crunk" tag to promote said 'movement'.

but what kills me is to what extent the prominent
artists, (mainly e40) of the movement will go to get
the 'movement' moving, and inspire another batch
of coons & coonery. the disease that keeps on giving.

like seriously, WALKING by the side of your whip while
its in motion while niggas hang by the door??!!! is that
really whats hot in the Bay streets? lol.

or the call & respond "thizzzz" catchphrase they throw
in every other bar. this would be their version of lil
jon's 'yeaaahh okay' i suppose.

not to mention the dread niggas wildin out bobbin they
heads im sure theres more characteristics i left out.

it would be one thing if hyphy was a natural progression
of crunk, but to me it seems e40 & nem actually
concocted a plan to
put the Bay on the map. but the 'movement' itself seems mad
contriveded, gimicky & calculated imo.

at least with crunk music, them cats were original and
actually created a genre, and a REAL movement (although wack in itself.)
these hyphy niggas are just hoppin the bandwagon. no?
