"Hyped up albums that we completely forgot were hyped up"


  

          

...mainly because the artist fell off, or never made it big.

Yeah, we talk about a lot of the flops from big artists, or the albums that we say didn't live up to the hype because we still talk about them. Such as a Canibus "C True Hollywood stories" which people will always talk about for this reason.

But it's a lot, especially from the 90's and early 2000's, that had a LOT of hype, and we completely forget because they haven't been mentioned since then. Some of them were actually good/decent albums...just that they didn't live up to the hype.

What are some that you can remember, even if they were more Regional/Local?
