46" (I'll be watching from just about 9 feet.) 1080p native resolution 6000:1 contrast ratio but I don't trust that nonsense. 2 HDMI, 2 Component $2399 heavily discounted at Best Buy
That's the major stuff. This TV is basically Samsung's model from last year. The new version has a 10000:1 ratio and one more each HDMI/Component input. Not worth a G to me.
There shouldn't be any direct sunlight where I'm positioning it. I'm kinda tempted to step up to 50" or something, and I feel like TVs start to feel smaller the longer you have them. Still 46" looks plenty big to me, especially since I was originally considering a 40" which I have *real* qualms about.
Anyway - what y'all think on that. I'm trying to preemptively squash this buyer's remorse.
