It’s not ON them to fix this. It’s on owners and GMs. The players can’t be expected to drive all social convos forward is my point.

unlike most social justice issues that they can give attention to but are not going to change overnight.
You don’t hear anybody talk about Jacob Blake now and most don’t remember his name or know or care that the officer wasn’t charged. It was a nice soapbox moment and they moved on. Similar to Breonna Taylor.
A lot of the racism that goes on every day in the NBA gets ignored including a struggling white coach getting a promotion.
Including an organization pulling an almost unheard of move of going outside if the organization for a mid-season hire bringing in Chris Finch when that should’ve been David Vanterpool’s job.
Like black coaches getting fired from playoff teams and white coaches with losing records walking right into the next job.

but he has a valid point. Brad Stevens received a NBA coaching position
with no NBA coaching experience, and now he is being promoted to a NBA
executive position with no NBA executive experience.
That is an obvious action of cultural bias when it comes
to hiring NBA executives and coaches. It appears that Caucasians
are the preferred prospects in the hiring process, so AA don’t even
get considered for interviews or as persons of interest.
