Chris Paul’s preference is to stay with the Clippers but he wants them to hire an African-American coach, according to multiple league sources. The Clips’ best bet for keeping Paul with a long-term deal might be to hire Nate McMillan, who can have the Pistons job and any number of bad-to-so-so jobs that are out there, as the replacement for Vinny Del Negro, whose current contract is expiring and is not getting a new deal.
“Nate’s too good of a coach not to be coaching in the league,” said Kevin Pritchard, the Indiana GM who was McMillan’s boss in Portland. “Whoever gets Nate is going to get a hell of a coach.” Remember, McMillan and Paul have ties from Team USA. ... The Bucks’ J.J. Redick will go shopping for a new team this summer and he should draw a lot of interest as one of the top shooters available in the free-agent pool.

"Because their wives make the best cobblers. And every time I exit the playoffs early, they send me some to cheer me up. I drown my face in a cobbler. Doesn't matter the fruit."

He runs a pretty loose ship. Great with the players, obviously very smart hoops-wise. I think he'll take another run at a head job but ultimately be a top assistant.
