You give up one of the most productive and dynamic players in the league in his prime.....you better pick somebody really good at 17 and in round 3.

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

And the one good football team we’ve had recently in 2016, OBJ breaking a big play was the entire offense.

We’ll see what they do with the picks and the cap space.

Peppers is a stud. and he is REALLY young.

if they nail the two picks, and build the line around Zeitler, it isn't the travesty trade most people are making this out to be.

obvs the biggest step to the 'new Giants' is the one they haven't taken yet, and that's QB

and he was already implying he didn't like being in NY, didn't think Eli was good (publicly not ok to say), needed to be reeled in on the sidelines, etc.

When I saw the news my initial reaction was panic and disappointment, but I've let it sink in that they're really scrapping and rebuilding.

Plus now all those people gotta buy new jerseys.

The delay in trade was probably caused by different opinions, Mara vs. Tisch and Shurmur who wanted to keep him

Odell shutdown at end of year and team played well. I remember a couple of the other receivers started to shine a lil with Eli. Let's not forget Eli has made mediocre receivers look great on occasion for years.

The unhappiness playing in NY. Seemed sick of losing (understandably). The press can be taxing.

If you really believe that then you should expect the giants to be significantly better this year.

And lol at eli making mediocre recievers look great on occasion for years. Beside thay hilarious qualifier'on occasion' who was the last reciever that applied to Steve Smith in 2009?

-The Knicks’ coaching search still includes a lone frontrunner, Kurt Rambis, whose qualifications for the position include a strong relationship with Jackson and a willingness to take the job.

Just saying dude, OBJ was THE ONLY offense we had when he was in the game at times. Then, when he and the entire receiving corps went down in the same game, Eazy E had to be the entire offense and showed he can be very productive. Engram, Shep, and whatever other guys they find gonna have to carry the offense with Saquon.

Williams went back to the Panthers, but maybe they can get Remmers in at RT today. With that starting line as it looks right now, Eli has no excuse. We don't need YAC to the house we just need a solid production.

But you really have expectations for this season?

good or bad remains to be seen

I just know I can't take another season of OBJ upset on the sidelines

Both Odell and Eli deserve better

OBJ gonna be playing with Baker, and his boy Jarvis on a young team with a lot of potential. The NY media gave him constant shit, now he don't have to deal with all that.

Huge dead money this year, next year the rebuild is in full swing
