"Are there any earbuds better than Apple at the same price "

or less?

They fit perfect in my ears and the thump is pretty good in these kook to but the wire is janky.

Most earbuds fall out of my ears.

I’m actually thinking about the wireless ones but I’m afraid I will lose them.

I don't think they work well with iPhones.
If you one of them weirdos where the apple buds actually work in your ears, and you enjoy them, well...I say go ahead and just some more on ebay or something. They're probably going for cheap now since they've ditched the headphone jack.

I don’t like things in my ear. It always feels like it will fall out, even if it doesn’t. It’s uncomfortable to me too.

The over ear joints, I forget that I even have them on after awhile. I’ve got the Beats Studio 3’s. I love them for lifting weights. You get some noise cancellation so it blocks out the terrible music they always play at the gym, and despite being big they’re actually light.

They are molded to the ear shape so they are much better at staying in your ears. I'm a musician who uses custom molded in ear monitors on stage, and the Jabras fit me almost as good as my customs. They stay in my ears with no problems while doing all kinds of workouts.

There are newer versions which came out late last year that get good reviews - the Elete 65t Active and the Elite Sports, but I haven't tried them.

Airpods fall out of my ears WAY to easy, and they don't sound anywhere near as good as the Jabras.

Even at the gym while sweating and running/jumping around. They twist in place into your ears the same way that custom molded in ear monitors lock in place.

I was fucking SHOCKED, man. I've been trashing Apple headphones since before the iPod had a click wheel. I HATED Apple headphones, and I've almost exclusively used Klipsch's Image X series as far back as high school because they're always on sale for way, way less than the $350 MSRP.

My last pair happened to fray just as I got that phone so I gave them a shot and I honestly haven't felt pressed to get another pair. They do everything just right enough, and especially now that I listen to podcasts way more than music it's hard to argue against them being perfect headphones.

I never thought I'd say that about Apple's cans.

I love the Apple wired ear-pods:
1)I like the sound - not too much bass, nice mids, highs are present.
2)The controller is really cool with volume up/down and pause/skip forward, skip back controls.
3)I like that they aren't "closed" so you can hear some sounds around you.

I bought the Airpods the week they came out:
1)The sound might actually be a little better
2)They hold a big charge and can recharge very quickly while
3)You can pair directly with Apple Watch and you don't have to take your phone.

But they have a issue that made it a no-go:
1)No controller for volume or track controls.

That alone means they didn't work for me. I hike about 40-50 miles a month and I use those controls a lot. Talking to Siri while on the trail was lame.

Here's that I did:I put the wire under my shirt. So phone is in pocket, wire is under my shirt and pops out under my collar with the controller exposed, then to my ears. So the wire doesn't get in the way or caught on anything while I use them.

And you can regularly find Authentic NEW Earpods with controllers for about $19.99 - so you can buy at least 5 pairs for each pair of Airpods.

I tried Beats-X - and the bass was way to progressive and they weren't waterproof!!

I tried a few pays of Jabras and Jaybirds and thought none of them sounded as good or they were completely closed so I couldn't hear anything around me - I need to hear people behind me.

If the sound is shorting then you need a new pair - if not then blowing compressed air into the controller has made it work for me again. If some dust gets in there the rocker controls don't work.

And while I do have aa Apple Watch I find it harder to fiddle with when I'm using hiking poles (have to left both hands and the poles kind of cross) then to reach up with a single hand an use the controller. Could just be muscle memory too.

whatever features other brands offer just look awful from jump

even those one ear pods

but like with many A products, my AirPods are loosing their charge faster over time...

seems to be a settings issue with voice control taking up battery life for no reason

that can be turned off and volume/pause can be controlled in settings

I traded in my old phone for an A gift card

there are many ways to offset the cost unless you just hate A...
