Then AFTER she paid and got her change she ordered a drink with LOTS OF ICE.

I don't know how some of these people work fast food, I would flip out on customers all day.

I always, ALWAYS have to ask for a lot of ice because they barely give you four cubes and when they do, them shits are half melted.

Fast Food is all about the ice because it means less drank in your cup.

But i don't go alot of fast food joints either.

Both to take and fulfill. Some places don't give you much of anything and other places fill the cup high, so when people know what they want.... they ask for it.

I've noticed the ice thing a lot with women who are anemic or pregnant.

In fact, my wife is anemic and prefers her cup to the brim with ice.

She does this even at home.

At certain joints she'll order a side cup of nothing but ice.

If you look on a McDonald's cup there's a line showing how much ice to use. Most places seem to be self serve now anyway unless you use the drive through.

Chipotles is as close to a fast food chain as I come these days.

but I like alot of ice. lol

especially if i'm on my way home.

i'd ask for no ice, use my ice from the crib and still don't drink the whole thing.

they give it to you and the little bit of ice is already melted and the drink is still not cold. Gotta order extra ice.

The drinks come out of the fountain cold already. The ice just serves to cut your drink size down in size, thus maximizing profits off of a single bag of syrup. A lot of places have their employees fill up your cup to 2/3 or 3/4 with ice before adding the drink. In a large, 32oz cup you might be getting only 10-12oz of the pop you ordered with the rest being ice... which starts to dilute the drink within minutes of them handing it to you.

Besides that, if you don't finish the drink right away you can add your own ice or stick it in the fridge when you get home and drink it a bit later because it's not watered down.

At most she'll throw a lil parm on it but that's it. Unless she's eating pizza for it's comfort value she orders without cheese with regularity.

I was skeptical the first time I tried it, but it's one of my treats now.

Honestly the best Pizza I eat is made at home on those flatbreads.

Asking for no cheese tends to elicit this weird short circuit in people's faces.

they look you at like they want to show you the door.

Half of these people must be related to legs because they damn near develop a tick in their eye and facial muscles, like their entire paradigm just shifted.

Suddenly left is right, up is down, black is white and no matter what they actually say, what they mean is "does. not. compute. system error.'

Shit I remember working at BK and getting so many orders for Whoppers without the beef patty that I once made one for a guy who ordered a regular whopper.

People make their orders all kinds of ways and some people simply aren't all that articulate or misspeak, hence "cheeseburger without cheese".

So asking for a cheeseburger without the cheese will increase those chances. Best bet is to ask for the name of the burger and request no cheese.
