Compromise
------------

My debit card number was compromised.
I don't like the term compromised. That infers to me that there was a middle ground, an agreement made. I like robbed. Cuz that's what it was. I was robbed.

So far they got me for close to $410. It's not so much the money that's the problem. it's the fact that I had to cancel the card and now I gotta deal with cash until i receive a new one from my credit union.

I now have to drive cross town sometime to get some cash from the actual branch location only because I foolishly cut up the card right before the fraud investigator says that can still use it to access my savings account. Good Grief.

Gorilla Pimpin
--------------

That handsome gorilla post is tres hilarious.
Like if it doesn't get archived, it's a travesty.
This is how I see other nationalities (secretely) lustin' after the black man.

Monument Valley
---------------
I turned my girl onto this game and I don't think she's spoken to me in 3 days. She's got her iphone/ipad up to her face nonstop.
To some this may seem like a problem---it's been blissful for I haven't had to be disturbed by youtube make-up tutorials, snap chats or whatever else she finds to view at high volume levels. SHe sent me a text saying she beat the additional levels of the game this morning. I was quickly saddened by this news and slowly sulked to my desk as I made my way into work.

My goal for the day is to find her another game.

Great Wolf Lodge
---------------
They've been playin' the commercials for the Concord NC location A LOT here in Atlanta. My son has indicated he wanted to go. I'm like cool, I'll check on it and yadda yadda.

$300 a night for a rustic hotel room with free indoor water park access? PHUCK OUT OF HERE.

And the suite ain't even a suite that separates the bedroom from the rest of the room? How are me and ol' girl supposed to *cough, cough* enjoy ourselves when ya'll lil' asses are dead tired from swimmin' all day?

WE.AINT.GOING.

especially not for no $300 a night and there ain't no animal mascots, castles, magic kingdoms or television studios on the property.

GunPlay
--------

I'm listenin' to power 105.1 and the Breakfast Club is talkin' about sex time. Muhphuckas callin' in talkin' about 60 mins.
Who are y'all phuckin' and why? 25 mins max and I'm tappin' out. I don't wanna go nooooooooooooooo longer.

One girl said 2 hours. I would get up and put my clothes on and say I quit. I'm fakin' a cramp, a charlie horse, a migraine or something at the 25 min 30 second mark. I'm done. I'm clock watchin' like a mug. if you don't get yours by then---I don't know what to say.

Well I do know what to say...."Good Night".

Rat tail comb: I'm mad I locked into a happy hr on my bday and now all these cool events popping up. DC loves Dilla will have Common and Slum Village. Also there is an adult swim with BYOB. What's a chick to do?!

Bath & Body's Butterfly Flower: Had this one the other day and walked into a barber shop. Bammas holla they could smell my pheromones. I swear I love the hood.

Cancer Season: I'm always on and poppin around my bday and it never fails. At this moment about 3 people are trying to holla. 1 is a shy guy, 1 is a super aggressive guy, and one is a bi chick. The bi chick is a toughy. I'm not sure if she's trying to be my friend or she wants the cat. Either way I'm helping her celebrate her day tomorrow. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I don't wanna be all awkward

Pepsi: I've worn a hairpiece for the last few days. Although convenient, I don't feel like me until I'm back to my curls.

Starbucks Caramel Iced Coffee with extra shot:
My weekend went from packed to dumb empty. With this rain several outdoor events I was supposed to go to are cancelled. Not complaining. Now I can get me some jumbo crabs when I go out saturday with the chick and friends.

Shawty, you better go and find another single mom, chat it up and let them kids ride together. I have to do that every time we go to a carnival because I get sick on stuff like Merry Go Rounds (or anything that just spins around) and my son always wants to ride those. So I end up finding some single parent who really doesn't want to ride either and our kids end up buddyin' up on the rides.

Been there. Missed a Slick Rick show last summer because of a sick child.

1. I'm struggling a little bit at the newer job.
I'm used to being one of the best employees, so going through this new-girl stage is seriously frustrating me.
It's got me super motivated with school right now, though. I'm so ready to work for myself.

2. Old job asked me to come back last week too.
They are under new, better management. And I could potentially make more money if
they agree to meet my current pay. BUT. The money isn't worth my health and sanity.
I've only got 1 year left anyway to be hustling like this. I left the door open though.

3. I was so resistant to getting a smart phone, but now I love it.
Apparently I'm boring with it -- I just keep track of work hours, credit score
and the weather -- but it's replaced my planner and I'm excited about that.

4. I still haven't worn shorts this summer because I hate the attention my legs get.
But the humidity has arrived and it feels like opening the door to a sauna every time I get ready to step outside.

5. I caught a snake and removed it from a public building.
Man, I felt so awesome and it was so fun. I really wish I had a boyfriend that
was into herping (and outdoorsy things in general, and action flicks... forever alone! *cries*).

vodka.

asian lady at the liquor store didn't want to take my debit card to pay for this 6 dollar bottle of vodka
i wanted to buy to replace my dad's shit i drank up lol i was like well i don't have
cash. she took the card and was like next time you bring cash. bitch won't be no next time.
i don't like when stores don't be taking debit cards. this isn't a bodega why are you acting
like you don't want my money foh. pay your damn fee. thats the cost of business.
the other liquor store i go to takes cards for whatever
i only went to this lady bc it was on my way back from the grocery store. never again!

minions.

my son has never seen despicable me but he's obsessed with minions bc of this game i downloaded onto my phone. i want to watch despicable me with him though so he knows where them lil fools come from. on some weird shit he doesn't have the attention span for movies at ALL. we were watching the incredibles the other day and he was not interested in
the least. also i've found that anything with violence in it he kinda tunes out lol he be like 'where are the songs? when do i get to learn something???' sweet kid. nothing like my nephew who likes anything with some kinda karate chops in that bitch.

work.

i have an interview for an overnight job tomorrow mad early in the morning. i really hope i get it. the pay is fantastic and its only part time. only problem is its over night. i might
have to break down and speak to his grand mother about watching him over night but i am so not in the mood to deal with that woman after how she spoke to me that time.
a couple months back the FOMC was going to bringing her to the bus station down in the city and would have to
basically do a lot of driving back and forth to bring the boy back then go back home.
FOMC calls like can i drop the boy off early (this is like 10 am he usually drops him off at like 5) and i'm like uh for what. when i find out why i'm like no bring him with you wtf. then
his mother hops on the phone mad hype like just do us this favor! like how i do you a favor
when i watch him etc. i'm like oh watching your grand son is a favor now? i don't pick him
up or drop him off over there anymore. she sees him but only through her son. i'm not
here for the bullshit.

sleep.

speaking of over night my son is really starting to get on my nerves. just fucking go to sleep. all night last night he kept waking up and whimpering and shit because he had to sleep in his own bed. just go the fuck to sleep!! it would be so much easier if we didn't share a room.

acceptance.

i'm finally COOL with my lil sister's mom. i mean i'm not about to call her up or hang out or no shit but we all a went to red lobster for my lil sister's graduation and had a good old time
chatting it up. no awkward moments. twas very cool.

i'm sure she's gotten that threat before since she's on the whiter side of town, which is why she took the card without me making a stink about it. but don't tell me 'bring cash next time' fuck that i'm not coming back lol

yea. my brother is young and got a life but until i find somebody else i'm willing to pay him to watch him for me. my dad would do it but he's a teacher and about to be on vacation
he's gonna be traveling a lot this summer.

not a bad idea but that kid is insufferable. he'll just whine through the sheet our beds are really not that far apart since the room isn't that big.

>just keep it casual and it'll reward you with bliss.

word. i hadn't seen her in mad long bc i just didn't have to so i was expecting awkwardness. there was none. we had a good time.

i also let him fall asleep with me and i put him in his bed
he wakes up itchy then realizes he's not in the bed with me and starts throwing a fit
i get up and lay him down, he goes to sleep then like an hour or so later he does the same thing
sometimes he just goes back to sleep on his own
but not after he already woke me up with his whining
i just need him to get over this and sleep lol
hopefully it won't take too long for him to get used to this
he had been sleeping in his bed fine until his eczema got really bad and
i let him start sleeping with me to keep him from scratching himself til he bled
now that his eczema isn't as bad i started putting him back in his bed by himself
he is not pleased. he got really used to sleeping with me

a few months back i had to swaddle his big ass in a blanket bc he was being so frantic about it
he's actually been much much better lately. he will itch for a lil bit then goes back to sleep
whereas for a while there it was as if nothing could stop him.
i'm glad it has calmed down

If you wanna go to Great Wolf...GROUPON is your friend. They are always running specials. I'm trying to wait until the munchkin is fully swimming trained and a tad bit older to take her and a friend.

My 5:

1. The mom in law suite and bathroom on the first floor of our home is being upgraded via high gloss paint. We got the pros in on the job. I'm so phuckin happy!!!!! I'm tired of cleaning off my paint because there was jelly or toothpaste or some other thing on my walls. Now, all I need is a towel and soap and I don't have to ruin the paint job!!! Its the little things that give me peace.

2. I did clean up her room. I folded all her clothes and whatnot so that she would come home to a nice room. She now has cable and a tv in her room. Which means I will see less of my mom in law on a day to day basis. GOD BLESS TV AND SATELLITE. And, while I know my hubby appreciates it, I guarantee I won't get an ounce of thank you from my Mother-in-law. If I do, it will because my husband made her do it.

3. Happy with the Supreme Court's ruling. I truly believe in equal rights for all. And, not just for straight people. EVEN AS A CHRISTIAN. I am not going to begrudge someone's right to marry. Is it biblical...no. But, LOVE IS LOVE. And, I think that GOD is love and that he is not going to damn someone for loving another. Even if they are of the same sex.

4. I'm hating that my hubby is going to be traveling the week of our anniversary. He's going to be in Baltimore July 1st. So we are going to have to celebrate our 10 year marriage anniversary on the 4th of July.

5. I'm going to get my munchkin involved in swimming classes in a week. I'm so excited for her because she LOVES the water. I just don't want her to be one of those kids I keep reading about in the news. TEACH YOUR KIDS TO SWIM! And try to do it BEFORE they have fear of the water.

Lord of the Rings (Classic GOAT)
-I got an interesting text message from a networking contact that was simply "salary requirements?" I responded and they sent me a text back and said "I'll call you in an hour". Interesting conversation indeed.

A Song of Ice and Fire
-I have two vacations booked for the next year. In August I'm going to Aruba for a week and in May of 2016 we're taking an 8-day, family Disney Cruise to Alaska. I'm looking forward to BOTH.

Mistborn Trilogy
-Also have two possible long-distance business trips. May have to go to Rio in August for 5 days. Also may have to go to Korea for a week around Thanksgiving. Interesting things are happening.

Stormlight Archive
-My job has some of the best perks. Long story short, I'm spending my 4th of July weekend in a mansion in Las Vegas and the only thing I have to pay for is a rental car and whatever food and entertainment I partake.

King Killer Chronicles
-I was successfully eating vegan & gluten-free until I got to St. Louis for a business trip. I haven't even had any vegan OPTIONS. Ordered a salad last night for dinner and asked for no dressing or cheese; it comes covered in both. Tried to have oatmeal for breakfast... they cooked it with milk and butter. Ended up having fruit and a croissant. Luckily, I leave today at 4:50 and I can get home and get my diet back right. I'm tempted to fast until my flight.

Why can't I have a carefree Friday like everyone else? I'd gladly trade in a chill Tuesday & Wednesday for a hectic Friday, it's like clockwork!
