kinda wish she did as i think it'd help her chill out a little bit, but it's obviously not that big a deal to me. i've had 'em that did and didn't. as long as they don't look at it like some horrible behavior then it's whatever.

but its not a requirement. its weird tho, cause i've been with women who smoke more than me and i didn't like that. i like to take my little bowl hit and ride that thing on out. but sometimes women like to smokesmokesmoke. like take a hit, then 30 minutes later they want another hit. that was annoying and i've had to regulate that shit.
but in a perfect world my girl would like to smoke, and smoke less than me so i would be smoking less. i used to fuck with a chick who could put away a quarter in a day and just generally blow through whatever the situation called for. she was young when i met her maybe 23 so it didnt show. later it caught up with her but mannnn was she a fit, crazy ass broad when we were together.

A big and quick turn-off is a chick who ACTS like she has no problem w/you smoking weed but her passive aggressive ways say otherwise...always bringing up some article or something she heard abt how weed does x,y, z to you

I've dated a woman that smoked up half my stash (my friends used to call her Smoke-a-docious...lol) and I've dated women that didn't smoke at all, and some in the middle.
The only problem comes when they try to change or "correct" my smoking. It doesn't make me miss work. I don't drive around smoking. I am very open with my smoking, no secrets about it. Don't get "brand new" after the fact.
Ironically, the couple that didn't smoke were the most tolerant of it. *shrug*

because with like opiate pain medications and other commonly abused prescription drugs, the employer can only take action if they think your (ab)use is adversely affecting your performance in a clear way. there have been factories that thought they were experiencing lower productivity and more accidents because of prescription drug abuse, so they started testing and firing employees. they lost lawsuits or union disputes in every case. there are exceptions like jobs that require a ton of driving, but in most instances they can't can you for opioid positives and other such substances because of the Americans with Disabilities Act and other such protections.

same goes for being high around somebody that doesn't smoke. I mean it's not the end of the world, but it always feels like you're being watched/judged (even if it's just a lil bit). Plus I'm just an accommodating person in general so I'll always feel a lil weird about forcing my habit on someone.
I've been smoking for a loonngg time and I can prolly count on one hand the # of people (both men and women) that I know that don't smoke and are actually ok with being around people that do. Even with that you're always kinda wondering if the person is being honest or just really good at keeping their opinion to themselves lol
A lot of people say they're ok with it, but there's a huge difference btwn being able to deal with smokers in a social setting and actually being in a relationship with one.
