Ingram is a solid player but I've never seen the "star" he was supposed to become. When there was talk of potential trades for All-Star players we were constantly told that Ingram was "untouchable". Now he doesn't even really have to be a "star" just be a consistent #2 scoring option and he can't even manage that.
Its funny I believe the "Nyquil" nickname created for George fits Ingram to a T. The ridiculous dust-up against Houston early in the season was the most passion I've seen out of Ingram at any point in his pro career. Most of the time he looks like he's half asleep. He has all the talent and ability but he just doesn't have enough dog in him and that's one of those things that either you have it or you don't.
