18 years ago, is 4.5 years. I generally get bored quickly and begin to look for more money and different challenges. Just started a new gig that could keep me hear for some time because the challenge is to modernize the IT infrastructure. They estimate is taking 7 years. Plus, they offer a pension to go with their 401k match. Fully vested in the pension plan after three years.

At 45, I'm thinking of all the different ways to get retirement checks flowing when that time rolls around.
