I'm over politics...I wanna talk about food!


I'm frying a turkey for the first time...I hope it's a missile! Mom and I are doing the cooking, mostly me. So the menu is as follows: Turkey, stuffing, giblet gravy, mac and cheese, candied yams, collard greens "not no damn KALE!"~Mom, I'm trying my hand again at these awesome honey butter yeast rolls, a coconut cake--for the people, 3 sweet potato pies, sweet potato swirled cheesecake w/ginger snap crust and I may do a pound cake.

Why so much food you ask? Because everybody will be in town, but we're eating as separate families this year and then we'll regroup at Christmas, so we'll be exchanging things.


Also, (even tho we aren't married) my mother-in-law is joining us as well as my father (who I haven't had a holiday meal with since...well ever!) Mom and Dad, MIL, Boo, Kid and Bro...should be a very interesting meal!
