I was stopped by a pig at a Mall (the Gallery) when I was 21. He grabbed my arm and pulled me to the side. The cop said he thought I was a truant. He made me stand there while he looked up my ID. He just wanted to show dominance over a cute young girl, and he knew he could get away with it. The sexual nature of police violence is an added level of terror for Black women.
