because I don't think Mike has really studied revolutions, so I didn't necessarily agree that knowing how to farm is what has allowed for successful revolutions elsewhere. Hell, the Cuban revolution was initiated by 20 people (yes, yes vastly different context, but they weren't a bunch of farmers and riflemen).
That said I do think that a bloody revolution against the US is not possible for Black folks (and other poc) because we'd be outgunned so badly that it would be over very quickly. So, this time I got past that first part and saw that was basically his point. And when he finally got to surviving the encounter and not setting ourselves up for failure, he was absolutely right.
