I feel like he’s getting some bad advice. Someone told him he’ll be good in media post-career, so he’s getting a jump on it now. Except he’s such a fucking asshole the only way he can get anyone to pay attention to him is to say inflammatory shit.
Feels like sort of a dead end - he’s such a toxic personality no one cares about his analysis , but he also lacks any of the self-deprecating awareness that Chuck and Shaq have that allows them to just show up and be themselves.
i mean they let Kendrick Perkins and the fucking Morris Twins get up and run their mouth. Rich and Bron gonna make sure Draymond is sitting in somebody seat on a studio show for all the dickriding and water carrying he's done for them over the years.

But a big part of being a media personality is self-awareness, particularly the line between saying something interesting in a direct way and in a way that creates controversy. Chuck knows how to walk and dance around that line in a way that Dray doesn't. And it's a skill he'll need to develop if he's going to grow his brand and career beyond his own platform.
