Hell of a series and hell of a game. So happy the dodgers won, but also really happy I got to watch this series and game 7 with my son, family, and friends.
I grinded through the 18 inning game - and went to bed at 3am.
Toronto played great baseball and were a fun team yo be rooting against. It felt like they had the momentum most of the series, and last night felt like a 3-4 run game all night.
But a couple key mistakes, some luck (c) Snell, and some amazing plays and it turns out for the Dodgers.
That Pages catch… good lord.
The best alternative timeline of this repeat for fans and casuals alike
and even though they lost that and Game 5, I wasn't stressed because I knew Yoshi was pitching Game 6, but Games 3 and 7 were INTENSE. What a series. Way better than last year, and I was at Game 1 last year.

... but I don't think the occurrence of a sport's postseason "upgrades" the experience of watching it more than Major League Baseball.
A close Game 7 in the NBA is close, and some Game 7s in the Stanley Cup Finals have been amazing.
The one I remember most is the Dubs/Cavs 2015 Game 7. But that was intense because of factors outside of the gameplay. I watched the fourth quarter of that game about a year ago, and the memory eclipsed the quality of basketball outside of the two plays by Kyrie and Lebron. It was just sloppy basketball.
But a hotly contested Game 7 of the World Series is magic, even if you're even the most casual of casuals. This game had it all.
It was a really compelling series as well. For as much as some fans say the Dodgers broke baseball, their last two postseasons have been great drama to watch.
The only thing I would change is for me to beam my 18-year-old self into 2025, so that version of me, who loved baseball more, could enjoy this.

The Mariners/Tigers decider, Vlad going OFF against Yankees, Roki returning from the IL and solves LA's bullpen woes, Mariners/Jays back & forth series and game 7 heartbreaker for Seattle, Ohtani having the GOAT performance vs. Brewers to clinch the pennant, WS Game 3 18-inning marathon, game 6 ending, Yamamoto back to back CGs and pitching game 7 on ZERO days rest, Rojas heroics in the 9th inning (game-tying homer and game-saving throw to home by an inch)... this postseason was one for the ages.
Baseball is definitely my go-to sport to follow right now. NBA just doesn't do it for me anymore.
I can't wait for next year's World Baseball Classic, having Judge and Skenes is massive for team USA.
