Fans just need to wait 45 seconds, then storm the court. But you have to give the opposing players a chance to get out of there. If Clark had been hurt, court storming would be gone *tomorrow* lol.

But someone someday *will* be seriously hurt during a court storming-- and as much as I loved the times I got to storm the court when I was in school, I would've also loved doing it 30-45 seconds after the game ends just as much.

..we just watched Milwaukee toss 12M into the fireplace (allegedly because of the lack of defense) to bring in a coach that has never been known for defensive prowess and hasn't been able to get a team over the hump in almost 20 yrs.

These fools have been lying about profits/revenue for YEARS.

The money is there, they just refuse to part with it.

He said every game they’ve lost on the road the last 3 season resulted in the court being stormed and no precautions in the place when it’s obviously about to happen . i get that she makes more now in deals when she's in college, but why would those sponsorships deals stop when she goes pro? wouldn't they increase if anything? her WNBA money would just be extra money.

the whole point of NIL is that they don't get paid from the school but from their own Name, Image and Likeness. she's not getting paid because she plays for Iowa. she's getting paid because she's a star who happens to play for Iowa right now. there's no reason to believe that her deals would go away just because she leaves college. pretty sure there's nothing in the deal that requires her to be a college player.

my point was if there's more eyes on women's college hoops, then it makes sense that she could lose money going pro where there are less eyes.

usually, the more attention you can bring to a company (aka eyes), the more money you will be paid. so, if more people watch college hoops, i could see the argument that she might make more while in college, and lose money when she has to go to the WNBA.

again, i don't know which does better by the numbers.

No one was talking about Iowa womens basketball before her. She took them to only their 2nd Final Four in school history. No reason to believe that fans won't follow her wherever she goes.

I have no idea about women's college basketball TV ratings, but the NCAA championship game last year was the most watched ever for a women's game. Again though, that's all due to Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.

there's no official salary in college and I think people are considering NIL to be that.

so, she should actually make more money overall in the pros IF those endorsements continue and she could probably get a few more, in addition to her league money.
