On weekdays, baseball and basketball starts up right when I’m done with work. And I actually have time to do something after it’s over. Plus on Sundays Redzone starts up at 10 AM, which is perfect imo.

I’m not a college football guy though. If I was, 9 AM on Saturday would be too early.

It’s also great for CFB. That 9am game is usually just a some random unranked or lower ranked teams so it is great to have on in the back ground while you prepare breakfast and coffee.

and the 1030 playoff games were torture

first round anaheim, second round san jose, and you KNEW one or both were going 6

those wings teams were not above absolutely choking the entire season away every few years, and they seemed to inspire star-making goalie performances. you'll never know the pain of giving up a shorthanded goal at 1am to go down 3-1 in the series after putting 45 shots on goal.

I guess she was subbing for someone else and she doesn’t normally cover sports at all. But she asked a fully formed, multiple sentence question. Room was dead silent letting her finish. Bowles was standing up there, realized what she was asking, and patiently waited for her to finish.

AFCN looking real weak if Ravens lose.

I think the Ravens end up winning on the strength of their defense and Houston’s inability to move the ball and score.

In response to Reply # 50

that ended with zero points is gonna live with them for a long time. The kicker makes a 41 yard FG and they’re up by 7, instead of 4. Also, the previous possession when they had 3rd and 2…Love ended up throwing a bullet pass behind Jones…when as long as he is he could have run for the first. I looked at the replay and yelled out loud, lol.

It was a bad Purdy game. He made the obvious throws he needed to make on final drive, his best play was the scramble. He’s better than Jimmy I will give him that.

With this win the Niners will be making their 19th NFCCG appearance. They will now have played in 19 of the 54 NFCCGs. Meaning they have appeared in 35.18% of all NFCCGs in NFL history. They are currently 7-11 in the NFCCG, they have the most appearances and most losses.

Will they be 8-12 after next week or 7-12. You have to figure they will be favored regardless of the winner in tomorrows Detroit/TB game is.

..in a matchup of underdogs, the better defense made the stops and turnovers to get the w.

Can't expect to win close games with multiple turnovers.

Kudos to the Lions for continuing to win playing the right way. Go shock the world.

Colts were in the same spot, Mahomes and the Chiefs are to the Bills what Brady and the Patriots were to the Colts

I know a lot of personnel changes, but they still got the quarterback and they can still make another run -- felt like the Colts were never going to get over the hump either at one point

Could see it when he got his back bent on a play against the steelers. Was frozen in pain staring at the turf a while.

Hope he can his level back. Don't know.

Josh waa feeding him a ton early season then they realized they had to target other people.

No idea. Terrible game. 44 yards wide right and another playoff loss to kc...im ready for new storylines

I'm not sure. Something IS up but i think its deeper than 'he sucks all of a sudden'.

I think he's hurt and yep, the offense is different now.

He MIGHT be legit slowing down too cuz hey..that happens.

To me, smaller WRs like him need some solid looks that are schemed up too. They can't all be deep shots or situations where you know he's gonna get booty bumped and/or groped like crazy...especially in the playoffs. That has to be tough to live with in this ESPN-poisoned and fantasy football-crazed world where earth can't wait to holler out your stats as 'proof' that you suck or whatever.

No matter what, he's expensive and emotional, so WRs can't get away with that forever. He's almost certainly done in Buffalo, right? And it is probably for the best for him and them. They need to convince themselves that they're retooling vs running back a team over and over that can't beat KC (or the team that beats KC). Now its a matter of where he lands next. Houston is gonna have people serious about playing with Stroud but they need a certain fit. I have it in my head that Houston needs to holler at Mike Evans but I haven't given it major thought and I have no idea what Mike Evans costs for 2-3 years?

But I can settle for a Ravens-Lions SB matchup.

I love all things Baltimore, but I live amongst Baltimore fans and while most are cool, there’s a fairly significant number of hypocritical Ravens fans. So many have selective amnesia when it comes to Lamar Jackson and how he was treated when he held out for a reasonable/market value contract. That’s tough for me, but like I said, most of their fans are cool with me.

Everyone trying to find ways to minimize his contributions to a team making a legit run at a super bowl. Did he play great, no. When the game was on the line did he do what we needed, abso fucking lutely. The pass to Aiyuk was absolutely beautiful on the final drive and the run to get to 3rd and short was taking the team on his back when we needed him to. If this dude played for any other franchise, and was having this success, the world would be rooting for the kid, but instead they say he is just a product of the coach, franchise, talent, etc. The kid was the last fucking pick in the draft and he is using his opportunity to continously prove people wrong, but yet people gonna hate.

People are Twittered, ESPN'd, and talking head show'd to death now. People act like if your team has good players on it, it makes your wins less winny! But if you LOSE? Forgetaboutit. Hate addiction is big business!

On Purdy, he has a scary floor but he's generally played well as hell. And other people in the similar situation did not play as well. It doesn't seem too tricky to me! But hey...maybe I broke the cycle of hate addiction and I mostly just try to watch and enjoy the games. I have my favorites of course. And I'm a sucker for black QBs in general cuz I'm old enough to remember Warren Moon catching hell getting into the league. But hey!

People who openly shit on champions drive me crazy too. This shitting on Golden State thing is crazy. They're aging out but mfkrs act like they haven't won 4 titles. That 2022 ring to me shut down any slander.....but still the hate. Even winning isn't enough anymore.
