Everything Broncos-related is on fire. And you certainly can't fire Russ. Yet.

And the team looked much more functional with him giving up the playcalling to Kubiak. So on top of all of his other ineptitude, there is the legitimate question of: wtf does this guy even do now?

Meanwhile Ejiro Evero is barely putting a foot wrong with a defense that lost bigtime players to injury (Gregory) and everything else about this team sucking (Chubb).

Furthermore, idk why we couldn't have just admitted the reality of the situation immediately in the offseason and moved on. "Hey, you're completely unqualified to even be an OC, but we gave you the job to get us Rodgers. You didn't. So we're going with a real coach. Bye."

This is probably the deal.

But the Chargers are more apt to move off of a coach even when he has excuses to lose. The Chargers, like always, have hella injuries, they've never replaced Gordon, and they can't wait to lose a close game..like always. Some of that IS on Staley cuz he pretty much sucks, but he HAS had some drama to deal with.

Denver though? Shit show all the way. Who knows if the WRs were really ready to roll as they were assumed to be? Who knows just how much of an assclown and bitch Russ really is? Did he not 'do the work' during the offseason? Is he really Hollywood? Did he just assume that he'd be able to wing it and fling it all over the field and it would work with a whole new group of folks? Does he have a little Tebow in him...you know, where EVERYTHING has to be lined up just so in order for him to succeed? And even then, the lows can be FLOrida/Kroger low? Is he really out there calling Seattle audibles instead of the Denver ones?

IDK, but it all looks like shit. They can't move the ball well after the first drive. They catch hell finishing drives. Russ is holding onto the ball A LOT. When he tries to dance and run, it ain't popping like it once was. The running game can't move the ball well enough to take heat off of the playcallers and Russ. IE: see how Dallas looks when things are right with Zeke and Pollard..its a party out there! Zeke can do all of the ugly short yardage stuff: GL shit and otherwise. Pollard is free yards all over the field and maybe even a Madden Tourney money play TD waiting to happen. Could you imagine anyone in Denver's RB room cracking off a 60 yard run or catch and run? Bwahahaahahahaahaha!
