"2022-23 NBA MVP Rankings" Sun Oct-30-22 07:41 PM by allStah
My picks.
Giannis Mitchell Ja Luka Siakam
Mitchell is balling out of his fucking mind, and his team is 5-1…with no Garland or Rubio.
Giannis and the Bucks are undefeated with no Middleton.
Ja and Mitchell’s numbers are comparable. I gave Mitchell the edge because his team has the better record and they just look better. Jah’s shooting pcts are insane though. Grizzlies don’t look improved or better. Cav’s look strong, like ECF strong.
Luka got some crazy stats, but the Mavs look like shit and are in 12th place(right now), and he is shooting 22 percent from 3…yuck. A lot of it has to do with Jason Kidd’s coaching and him forcing a lot on Luka, but numbers are numbers.
ALL HAIL THE KING of LOSING: LEBRON Bulls | Bears | White Sox | Yankees | Notre Dame | Illinois | Chelsea | Real Madrid

Not that he'd be my pick-- Giannis is the guy right now, imo, and he probably just would be for me every year, he's amazing, lol-- but Top 5 in points per game, a higher level defender than the other MVP contenders not named Giannis, and Celtics currently 3rd in the East (even with all the crazy offseason turmoil). Gotta think he's at minimum got very good odds at repeating First Team All-NBA.
