'Cause the Chase Center is certainly the House That Steph Built, and he certainly is the catalyst to making the team increase 15 times in value in the last dozen years.

And yeah, that league proposal is horseshit and as Woj notes, very likely a non-starter with the NBAPA.

Regardless, the league is talking out both sides of its mouth here. Every CBA negotiation since like 2011 has been built around making it harder for franchises to build "Super teams" around free agents and making it easier for teams to sign the players that they draft themselves. The last few years, they've been grousing about players forcing trades to make "super teams." Now they're mad at the Warriors for drafting too well and being able to keep their superstars because Lacob hasn't reached his GAF limit? Yeah, the league owners are a bunch of clowns.

Raiders vaulue shot up like crazy from moving to Vegas, and just today the MLB commsionser is saying the A's new ballpark is looking like a no-go, and they might move to vegas too
