I dont regularly shop on there or anything, but that free 2 day shipping comes up clutch about 5-10 times a year.

Honestly though I was thinking of cancelling since they took all the classic HBO shows(The Wire, Sopranos, Curb, etc.) off there in the last few years.

So for someone like me who was on the fence about keeping it, putting games on there is big.

I am like you and buy something from Amazon 5-10 times a year and my wife buys from them about 15-30 times a year, so that quick delivery is clutch.

I really like their UI for music and I am glad they finally updated their UI for movies/shows/sports.

Supposedly you can get ebooks as part of Amazon Prime but I’m still old school and like to physically read a book.

and how I would never join that shit.

everyone on here said “ehhh, dont knock it till you try it”

Then my AC went out during a heatwave when I had a newborn and a 2 year old and the part I needed was on Amazon and prime would deliver on Sunday.

from that day on I been on Prime

and I love it.

FIL (rip) had the same experience. Needed bulbs that were only available on Prime, and once he was on he never stopped.

TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

4K resolution, the score bug and the other presentation graphics are great. And if you watch the Next Gen 'channel' it updates with relevant stats and sometimes show's the All-22 feed.

Maybe late-stage capitalism isn't all bad. LOL

and elevate allen, herbert, burrow, etc over him.

i mean...dudes were calling herbert the best qb in the division. even tho he hasnt done anything.

they want herbert to be that dude. i think he will be always be talented with a talented roster. but i dont think hes who they think he is.

the narrative is funny.

he threw a pick 6 in the red zone that basically cost them the game but hes 'so unbelievable' and has 'so much poise' because he makes a few passes while injured.

I am not sure about the play call in general there. 1st and goal from the 3, why not run the ball with Michel or play action. Everyone knew that was a pass when they lined up in shotgun.

I don't know if he is or isn't that guy. But it's way too soon to anoint him. I feel the same way about Burrow. I think the press and most fans are prisoners of the moment and are searching for the next Brady or Rodgers or even Maholmes. And because of that, Herbert (and Burrow) are being billed as fully arrived when it's simply too early to project.

Wins aren't a QB stat (© Mina Kimes). So, it's hard to knock Herbert if his team doesn't have a great record. But the QB's who are elite propel their teams to division titles and playoff wins despite poor rosters.

As an LA-leno I'm pulling for him, but it's simply too soon to really tell. He's off to a great start, though.

they keep saying you have to go through QB’s like Mahommes, Allen, Burrow and Herbert in the AFC.

Make the fucking playoffs first. Dude is doing a great Phillip Rivers impersonation right now. He is good but you can’t tell me a few decisions at the GL cost them the playoffs last year.

There are lot of others plays as well in those games but everyone points to 2 or 3 as the reason they missed the playoffs. Great QB’s overcome bad plays and still find ways to win.

I see him as a Carr or Cousins until he makes that leap in the playoffs.

and that team is STACKED this year so no excuses.

TBH the fact that you're even a mod here fits squarely within Jag's narrative of OK-sanctioned aggression, bullying, and toxicity. *shrug*

We are in a great era of NFL QBs. But let's not forget that both Mahomes and Jackson have both won MVP awards. Mahomes has a SB ring.

These dudes are all relatively the same age so they have a few things to do before they take the crown from Mahomes IMO.

Mahomes is obviously still at the top.

Herbert impressed me just as much last night too. Gutsy drive with probably broken ribs. Kid couldn't run for that easy first down because of the pain

Then turns around the next play and makes a god tier throw

We get at least a decade of THIS to come

The skill and creativity of these QBs, paired with the deepest and most athletic crop of receivers we’ve ever seen across the league, is different than eras past

I dunno man - Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, and Burrow - they do things that blow my mind the way Steph blows my mind. And they’re gonna be around for like 12 years.

just saying Burrow is not like Mahomes/Allen/Herbert, as far as that new age template QB goes

he is a 6'4 pocket quarterback with a good but not amazing arm, limited mobility but pocket presence and highly accurate when in rhythm...that puts Burrow more in common with Brady than Mahomes

Yeah, its a good azz time at the top. Some of these teams are rolling up with who done it and what for at the same time. And its jarring!

he made the business decision on not running for the first.

but that 4th down throw way down the middle? he used his whole throwing motion on that. ball was perfectly thrown. that was all guts + adrenaline. i know that shit hurt bad af.

and kc is still a problem. gonna be an interesting year. that afc west is crazy.

peace & blessings,

again. Colts have not won there in 8 years.

- Matt Ryan looks horrible, surprise.

- Indianapolis receivers are invisible, as everyone predicted -- and I love Reggie Wayne the player, but having him coach a bad receiving group in his first year coaching professionally was not a smart move.

- defense is trash without Leonard getting a turnover a game. who knew that Gus Bradley was not the answer!

I’m horrified. I don’t want to believe Russ is cooked. I kinda sorta don’t want to believe Hackett is this bad a damn coach. I just wish the shit looked better so far. But it just doesn’t.

Maybe it’s early and shit will be tightened up in a month or two?

I figured once they started reducing the assumed number of games Dak would be out, Jerry would chill.

And now Pretty Jimmy is finna try to get paid again. The Giants are finna be watching Niner games hard as hell.

The moment we drafted Kenny I said it was KP time and we are being stubborn as fuck acting like KP is learning from watching Mitch shit the bed.

Its not like we spent big money for Mitch. Bench his ass and let the rookie have a shot.

Seen a woman today before the game with a Kenny Picket jersey on and she said it was smart not to play him. What type of voodoo they have on fans who think you have to sit a rookie when the starting QB is new to the team and looks like shit?

I'm pretty sure part of the reason Tomlin is sitting him is so he doesnt get obliterated behind that sorry offensive line and the fact that Mitch is mobile and no one cares if he gets pulverized. Smart move, in my opinion

In response to Reply # 95

Mitch has time.. he just sucks and doesn’t move off his first read.

Mitch isn’t getting killed behind this OL, dude is just trash. This isn’t smart, its stubbornness by Tomlin.

Huge Tomlin fan but if he keeps trotting Mitch out there he needs to go. How the fuck do you draft the hime town hero and expect fans to watch Mitch all season? They are already screaming for Kenny. Its going to get ugly.

If KP doesn’t start the Jets game or replace Mitch this Thursday if the offense stalls.. watch how ugly it gets. Players are already talking shit in the huddle and showing their frustration i. the field. Tomlin will lose this team if he uses that OL excuse.

so we are getting 2 more of these doubleheaders after today.

business-wise...i still wonder why they overlap them on 2 different networks instead of doing a true double header on one (especially on abc).

full display. Through 2 games this year, he’s much more decisive and accurate. He’s surrounded with a ton of talent so this offense could really do some damage this year. I’m still not sure what to make of this defense yet, but they should at least be average to good considering the free agent and draft acquisitions. I would say Slay is shutting Jefferson down, but some of that is due to Cousins fun balling it out there.

Nearly all of his passes were on the money, and he completed over 80% of them. For 300+ yards, one amazing pass TD, while running for 2. The INT was off Gainwell's hands. The drop from Goedert was right in his hands, too.

He made some pretty impressive low throws, not even looking like he was intending to thread the needle.

Trusted the field rather than his legs, but had some amazing runs. I saw the spirit of other Eagle QB notables running through his game tonight and last week.

Defense really surprised, considering I thought Cousins and that passing attack would torch them. Instead 3 funballs off Kirk.

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.

improve as far as mastery of the system is concerned. what's dope is that the eagles hedged their bets and stocked some draft capital for next year that they could use to pursue a top qb if he busted. that ain't gonna happen, so that means they should be able to just get deeper from one of the most talented rosters they have fielded in years.

cousins fun-balling was due to the rush making his feet happy and heart flutter. but slay coulda called fair catch on the endzone INT. all good though. LBs looked good in coverage, too. gannon dialed up some really well-timed blitzes (as opposed to zoneatell).

and i normally can't stand watching a game that aikman and buck call, especially when there's a Black qb, but hurts didn't give 'em an opportunity to give him nothing but praise. he was great in every facet from decision making, timing, delivery, accuracy, all that shit. really enjoyable game to watch.

peace & blessings,

x.

Brady is desperately trying to find someone to run an okay route and be open. AND healthy. Good luck if this is where he's at in week 3.
