Fantasy football. People love stats. He was better than people thought almost immediately. He went from 'he can't beat out Tyrod?' to putting up wild stats, being in exciting games, and being on some Madden shit with his decision making.
The love MIGHT be going a bit far, but its fine. I'll take that over the extra hatin that some of these people get when these outlets don't have anything 'real' to talk about in between games.

and yes, I’m aware his coach is an idiot but he isn’t the first coach to try for 6 instead of kicking the FG.
