Shenanigans involved.

Let’s flip Werner for a striker and we’re good to open the season. Finish the rest of the shopping during the January transfer window

the other teams PSV couldve drawn were Midtjylland, Union Saint Gillloise, and Sturm Graz

😑

Noni Madueke got hurt last week, and will be out thru the group stage, which I thought a fully healthy team had a chance to navigate. now...not likely, unless Sávio makes a big splash

Carney Chukwuemeka is headed to Chelsea. 20 mill coming Villa's way. Kid wanted to play, now he'll be playing in Serie B or Ligue 2 as part of the Chelsea Loan Army.

Tuchel gives the youth a chance and plays them.

See Chalobah…

He will do one or two loan deals, and if Tuchel is still there he will see time…because Tuchel
wanted him.

Also see James, Mount, Tammy, Odi,…..all kids who came up through the academy, went
on loans and came back to the bridge to become starters.

Credit to Frank Lampard for changing that culture. Prior to him, kids were sent
out on loan forever.

The kids will play.

11. "Tammy was Frank’s number 1 striker"
In response to Reply # 8

for the 19/20 season, scored 15 goals with 25 starts. He was 21 years old.
He fell out of favor the following season because Werner and Havertz were brought
in, but he still remained on the first team.

The point was Young players were promoted to the
first team when Frank became the coach. It was the start
of the youth movement. We had a hand full of starters
who were 20-22 years old under Frank.

YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU’re TALKING ABOUT

You just said Tammy got no playing time at Chelsea.

It’s my fault really. I should have never responded.

Because the second Chelsea could buy again, Tammy went right back to the bench, which is why he’s at Roma now instead of stepping in to save the day after two big fucking busts in Timo and Lukaku. Because Chelsea just can’t help themselves. You keep telling me that you’re not making Salah and De Bruyne- level mistakes anymore. Well, Tammy’s one of them.

Tammy asked to leave, because he didn’t want to compete with Lukaku. He spent

Every team sells young, fringe academy players. Those sells
were pawn pieces, not stand out young players.

Mount
James
Odi
Cheeks
Chalobah
Tammy ( before he fell out of favor)

All those TALENTED young players made it to the first team under Frank and played either
starter minutes or valuable minutes…as young as fucking 20 years old

This isn’t pre 2018 anymore….Before Frank we would loan out young talented players
such as Salah,KDB, Lukaku, etc, and they would go off and be great elsewhere.

Please educate yourself moving forward….and I’m serious .

Because I wasn't talking about the academy products. I was talking about the players that Chelsea signs with no intent to actually play them, but sends them to Vitesse and Belenenses, or the flop purchases like Barkley, Drinkwater and the like.

Also, you keep bringing up all the guys Lampard blooded, leaving out the key bit. Chelsea had done their business so shadily that they weren't allowed to transfer players. So Frank wasn't doing that because he was streets ahead of everyone. He was making do with what he had.

Also, of that list, it's likely only three players are going to be involved by the end of the year. Hudson-Odoi is off to Newcastle and RLC is probably headed out as well.

And by the way; three is an excellent output for an academy. well done. But you acting like Chelsea are the purest team of heart and no one does it any better is a VERIFIABLE lie.

You don’t even know your own focking player. He is basically a Nathan Ake,
which is why he was on our radar…because we couldn’t get Ake back.
We wanted for him for his positional versatility.

We were going to deploy him in those positions in tuchel’s 3-4-3 or 4-4-2 from
time to time.

Which is why I made those comparisons

In response to Reply # 13

he's a CB by nature who can play at RB if needed/for matchups, this isn't complicated.

Cucu is a LWB who can play LB and can play LW. this is not complicated.

in a 3-4-3, Kounde is on the right side of the backline. In a 3-4-3, Cucu should be playing in the midfield as the wide left player. if he's in the backline, it'd be a bad idea.

in a 4-4-2, Kounde is absolutely best at CB. Cucu cannot be a CB. maybe the idea Kounde is mostly a RB, RWB, is part of why he waited for barca instead of completing a move to Chelsea. That and barca's a bigger and better club.

TONS of LBs are "more electric" than Kounde because you don't want electric from a CB. and when he plays RB, it's to have a defensive RB, not an attacking one.

He needs more training. He was giving plenty of starts by being
with the first team, but is still too raw. Made a lot of mistakes as a starter.

Also just signed Gabriel Solina as a future GK. Young MLS talent, highly ranked.
Mendy is 30, Kid should be ready in 5 years.

Fully bought in. Jesus looks so good in pre-season. + Gabbi and Saka look like men out there now, and Saliba - oh la la!

I'm all in on this being a really nice year. And I'm usually the pessimist.

hate them like most Chelsea fans. I mostly hate Liverpool and Barca.

If there is any team that deserves to win the EPL, it’s Arsenal….Dudes
have been winless for almost 2 decades.

However, against Chelsea, we pushing their wigs back.

But his offense is beyond elite. Dribble, strike, pass, speed. He is the epitome of
of the wingback position, him and Victor Moses. It’s like he was born for that position.

But as an outright leftback, he is terrible because defensively he sucks.

Alonso in a 3-4-3 is zeus level offensively. That dude is really really gifted which is
why Barca wants him…

He is getting older though, but I still want to keep him.

In response to Reply # 0
Fri Aug-05-22 01:52 PM by allStah

We got fleeced, and his value is more in the range of 35-45 million,
but we had to do it, and Brighton understood that. So they upped the
the price to an enormous amount.

Our system is highly depended on FB/WB, so depth in that area is of the utmost
importance. So we had to pay that extra 20 million dollars. Under the Roman regime
we wouldn’t have gotten fleeced like that, but it is what it is.

FB/WB depth

Chilly
Alonso
James
AZP
Cucurella
Chalobah ( natural position is CB, but plays just as well as a FB)

And they can all play side ( left or right) CB in a 3-4-3 system.

Wingers/Mids who can play WB if needed:

Pulisic
Odoi
Cheeks
Mount

Welcome to Chelsea!!…we get a curly top player reminiscent of David Luiz’
curly top.

down the road.

seems like that was the hold up. brighton wanted a full transfer or a buyback price tagged on. chelsea wanted to do a loan. had to compromise.

if the hype around the kid pans out chelsea will save money on this in the long run.

Build up Build up Build up ….nothing

We need a number 9 seriously. Crosses in the box are useless with no hold up
forward. Sterling’s work rate has been excellent…but can’t put the ball in the net.

Everton is parking big time so that has a lot to do with it, but still we look
toothless in the box.

But defensively we look excellent, especially the back 3. There will be a lot
of 1-0, 2-0 games.

And if premier league squads had to follow this rule, half of the EPL would be fuuuucked.

They'll register the players who might play tmrw in time and need the updated contracts for pique (and busi?), the loans, and one or two sales to get done.and maybe some movement on the accusations of criminality forsome Barto extrnsions...It's fine.

Don't expect barcs to sign many players next year. But they shouldn't need to. A RB if Dest doesn't improve. And a bunch of bloated contracts will be off the books then.

The fucking ridiculous part is that it's fucking Braithwaite refusing to help out at all when he has an offer for 3x the money. Jfc.

For him to be in the middle of this shit storm says a lot.

No way he puts up with this any longer. His legacy is actually bigger than the club’s.

MU is championship bad, where they might get regulated….

But of course refs and the leagues aren’t going to allow it…they will get
bailed out in some games to stay in the league.

it'll drive more fans to passively stay home or actively walk out. i know there's a walkout planned for Liverpool but they need to continue even after that.

only way the team improves is to make the Glazers sell (unfortunately, they strike me as stubborn assholes who'll stick it out just to piss off the fans) and the only way they'll sell is if MU becomes a thorn in their side whether that's financially or in other ways.

crazy how far we've fallen and how fast. i mean, we can't even identify a quality player and sign them and implement them in a halfway correct manner.

i'm sure ten Hag knew he had a job ahead but he's probably looking for the exit sign and i can't blame him. i'm not down on him by any means, but whoever is gonna fix this? it's gonna take years...like 4 to 7.d

like, relegation seems outta the question, but like, it doesn't either. we can't even hang w/ teams whose payroll is a quarter of ours, and those quarter of the payroll team are the teams that end up at the bottom usually so what does that say about us.

i mean, i love the team (as a club of course, not it's current construction), but let's be real.

i was busy this morning my friend messages me "are you ok" w/ a bunch of laughing emojis.

i said, "so i assume we're losing" and i check the score.

but like, i had to tell him that it's so bad now that i actually don't expect to win each week. i wasn't even bummed or anything when i saw it was 4-0. i guess you could say i was surprised but then i was like "should i be?"

i mean, i'm realistic. we're fucking terrible. i hate almost every player on the team because they either have no business being on the team due to lack of quality, or they just don't give a damn which makes me hate them more.

we need a complete overhaul and it's gonna be a long road before it gets better IF it gets better. i

i'm not bothered if people are laughing. the team deserves to be laughed at.

We put on a focking dribbling and passing clinic. We dominated the game,
but Spurs were able to score 2 goals because the referee missed calling
penalties.

The blatant hair pulling on Romero. Dude pulled Cucurella’s hair right in front
of the ref and no call, and that led to the harry kane goal. That should have been
an instant red card.

We get a draw but we were the far better team.

Our only problem, is again, we don’t have a striker…..but we have everything else.

RLC was brilliant as a wingback, and Kouli’s goal strike was insane. Kante was excellent
too, but he picked up a hamstring injury. I hope it isn’t serious.

They are always late to the party. It’s not that Casemiro isn’t good, but he is 30
and has some serious mileage on his legs, and might soon be winding down.

You know what this means for RM? Not only will they bag 70 mili
if the deal goes through, but Camavinga will be the starter from here on out!

That midfield is about be lit as hell!

Tchouameni and Camavinga?…shittt

i realize Casemiro is an older player, but he's FAR from cooked like Schweinsteiger was when we got him (i still don't understand why we went that route). we got Bastian when he had 300 (!!!) more appearances on his legs than Casemiro does right now.

i'm a MU fan and i'm as critical as anyone. this a good signing.

the issue is that we dragged our feet all window, so this won't paper over that fact, and it won't paper over all the losers we've signed in the last 4 or 5 seasons that the people in charge refuse to admit were mistakes and just back away from.

but hey, it's something.

Him and Kante over the past decade have been 1/2 as far as the best in the world,
but just like Kante, how much more does he have left?

30 isn’t old, old, but that’s the apex, and from there ability starts
to drop off after each aging year.

Dude has 4 CL titles under his belt. But shit Varane has 3 and he is in his prime,
and look at what has happened to him since moving to MU.

This could be career suicide for Case.

I'm kinda surprised he did the move cuz he has it nice at RM right now, even with great players on his neck for playing time. He started the last CL final for christsakes.

My hope, based on him doing the move, is that he's exactly the try hard kinda dude MU needs, a guy actually relishes the challenge ahead.

We shall see.

and I think since Brazilian players have had a lot of success in the PL,
plus wanting to take on a new challenge, he decided to make the move.
Dude is a legend, and no amount of losing at MU is going to taint that.

He is really cool with Silva, too, and Silva focking reinvented himself at Chelsea and prolonged his career…

There really isn’t any other league to go to…Italy is a drop off,
and so is the French league.,,,,So it does make sense.

is that the WC is coming, and at MU if he's healthy he's playing 80 mins or more.

at RM he might be starting many or most games, but subbing off for Camavinga or others.

plus what you said about the level of the leagues. and Varane is there who he knows well. i'm SURE he at least talked him before making the decision.

i've always liked him, and anyone is an improvement over McFred.

He is leading the race in the Golden Boy award,
an award, strangely, that no Madrid player has ever won.
This is an award that goes to best player in the world under the age of 21,
with players like Mbappe, and Haaland who have won the award…..

He is 19, and he is next in line for sure.

Real Madrid doesn’t win last year CL without Camavinga being
subbed against Chelsea. Kid changed the whole match.

So think about all he has accomplished and he is still developing….

It’s just a matter of time….and calling him an entropy in a shirt??
is way off and disrespectful.

Tchouameni is filling that Casemiro spot more than Camavinga. He was one of the best ball winners in Europe last season and was brought in to start the DM transition. But he plays more cerebral than Casemiro does, so I think we may see a double pivot vs single DM a bit this season. To help ease Tchou in.

Cama may sub as a DM, but his spot is as a CM pushing upfield more and bringing creativity and line breaking. Cama picks up needless yellows too often in his short time with Madrid. Needs to be a bit more judicious with his fouls.

Of course, he picks up yellows. He plays a position where defense is also involved,
and he loves to tackle. He isn’t close to being seasoned, but as DM/CM
his abilities and intelligence at such a young age are remarkable.

Just imagine where he is going to be after getting some starter minutes.
Plus he is French, and French mids are born to be great…just saying.

Btw, he prefers the 6 role.

He’s said he likes to play in front the defense to start then move up higher later in the match. He played typically in a pivot at Rennes, with freedom to move upfield and help on attack. It’s pretty well understood that he’ll either be playing in a double pivot with another defensive minded CM or more likely as he did today as one of two CMs ahead of a DM/deep lying playmaker. That DM is Tchouameni. Camavinga will be used at DM in a pinch or to spell Tchou, but he won’t be the starter going forward in that spot. It’s the reason Tchouameni was purchased, to replace Casemiro.

Speaking of Tchou, he was a beast today at DM. Camavinga also played very well ahead and next to him, especially as the match wore on an his stamina and athleticism was too much for Celta’s tiring mids. The future is bright.

Madrid needs another Striker/right winger though.

and playing it similar to the way Michael Essien played it: starting in front
Of the backline and moving up to be part of the attack at times. I interpreted
the same way.

“The former Rennes midfielder usually prefers central defensive midfield position. However, his versatility allows him to play in the number ‘8’ position as well as a central midfielder. The player is well known for recovering balls from the opposition and delivering accurate passes.”

https://www.news9live.com/amp/sports/football/why-did-real-madrid-sign-eduardo-camavinga-80573.html

So either all media outlets misinterpreted his commentary or he prefers that role.

One thing is for sure, he is skilled and familiar with both positions.

The thing with Maguire, I wonder how the rest of the squad sees him. Like, he's been awful for what? More than a year? And consistently awful. So if you're anybody else on that team, and see him give up yet another goal, how do you have any respect for him as captain? How is that not a dressing room problem? Or do the other guys just not care?

the only accomplishment he has had in his entire career is to lead a team to relegation a couple of times. easily my least favorite United player in 23 years of following the club

Presuming the squad stays fit, I will say they're def in for 4th, maybe even 3rd.

Yes. We lost the game, but Chelsea actually played well for most of the game.
We had a disallowed goal, and Mendy’s mistake led to a goal for Leeds. Plus
we weren’t able to capitalize on our chances. But,hey, hats off to
Leeds. It’s their first win against Chelsea in over 20 years.

Koulibaly also made two foolish plays that got him yellow carded twice and
sent off…We also need to get Kante and Kova back ASAP. Our midfield lacks
cohesion and structure without them.

Brenden Aaronson is the truth, and is going to be an American legend.,as well
as Tyler Adams.

I’m glad this game happened, because it highlights even more how badly
we need a god damn striker. There will be games where we are going to
have to come from behind, and without a striker it will be impossible to
do so. I’m sure there will be a lot of urgency to get a striker this week.

We will be okay. We just have to get a few players healthy and get a number 9!

Great game though.

MU need to be chasing Allan Saint-Maximin now.

He lacks finality sometimes, but fuck he's talented, fast, smart and works his ass off...and it's especially that last part that we need the most.

it doesn't even matter what team he goes to at this point he just needs to go.

this ain't even no shot at allstah cuz i know he loves these guys, but there other than the CL final there's no reason why Havertz and Ziyech should be regarded over Pulisic TO ME.

euro coaches just hate American players it's really not more complicated than that.

I didn’t want Havertz. I’m more of a Mount Stan.

The problem with Pulisic is you can’t play him regularly or he will
get injured. He has soft tissue issues, and his body can’t endure a
full game every week. I also think that Tuchel doesn’t favor him,
similarly to the Odoi situation.

I agree. Havertz isn’t the answer, and is vastly overrated. I honestly
preferred Werner over him, because even though Werner blew a lot
of sitters, his speed and movement created a lot of chances.

Ziyech is wack juice, too.

I keep telling people over and over again just how important Alonso is,
and what his offensive ability allows us to do… more than likely we are
going to lose him, and that might be too much of a loss to overcome.

Pulisic does need to go elsewhere in order to get the opportunity to
start, but I still think his body will not hold up.

cuz, maybe outside of a nick here or there, he hasn't really been injured in the last year or so that i can recall (i may be forgetting).

so, is he truly an "always injured" guy, or is he Steph Curry meaning did he have some injury issues early that then they finally figure out.

i feel like we'll never know the truth until he leaves because he doesn't play at Chelsea to find out.

In response to Reply # 125
Sun Aug-21-22 04:49 PM by allStah

He has a calf/hamstring history, and since he has been deployed as a
super-sub it has kept him from being injured. I’m not sure Pulisic can sustain
playing 70 mins a game every week in the PL.

In 20/21 he had 3 stints where he missed a lot of time due to injury:

Hamstring injury: 63 days
Calf tear: 24 days
Muscle tear: 23 days

Last season he played more as a super-sub, and he was almost injury free.

So I think it’s a combination of Tuchel not favoring and his injury history. And I think
it’s more his injury history, because if Tuchel didn’t really favor he wouldn’t get
any minutes.

He isn’t going to start over Mount or Sterling and he isn’t a number
9, so I think he is right where he needs to be for the most part.

He values hustle and pressing or whatever over creativity in attack. Although the attackers he leaves on the bench have shown they can run around and press as well.

Doesn’t help matters that his formation of choice leaves Chelsea a man down in attack and asks non-creative inside forwards (note: he doesn’t use wingers) to make something happen out of nothing. Thing is, they are generally left on an island after receiving the ball due to the lack of the extra attacking player.

His current formation protects Silva’s 37 year old legs and Jorginho’s shortcomings. It obviously is a wingback-focused formation as well. In short, attacking players get the short end of the stick. And then there’s the fact that aside from Sterling, Mount and Kai are useless on the ball since they can’t take anyone on. But I guess they press and stuff so yeah. Overall it’s such an uninspiring and timid setup.

But yeah, Tuchel is literally ruining Pulisic. And that’s not an exaggeration.

Edit: I also think Tuchel is too hard headed to adapt to his players. Lukaku somehow finished last season as the top goalscorer even though he was banished for much of the season for… not pressing up to Tuchel’s pressing standards. I’m pretttty sure he could’ve found a way to work around and/or work with Rom’s perceived pressing inadequacies. But instead he chose to get rid of him and gut the roster as if the players are fully at fault and not the lame tactics.

Our team dominated Spurs in attack last week, and they couldn’t
keep up with us. We got hosed because of officiating. Tuchel’s tactics
were spot on.

And we didn’t even play badly today. We just made some costly mistakes, like
Mendy trying to play the ball at his feet in his own box, as well as Kouli committing
2 stupid yellow cards. Plus we were without Kante,Kova, and Alonso.

Our issue isn’t attacking or creating chances. Our problem is that we are unable to
finish in the finality of our attacks. We have plenty of build up, but nothing to show
for it in the end.

Tuchel isn’t perfect, but you do understand that we won 3 titles in the past year or
so without a real number 9?

So before we start hammering away at Tuchel, let’s address our personnel issue.

Chelsea had the advantage in almost every stat

Possession

Make no mistake about it, Leeds won, and made some great plays,
but Chelsea didn’t play badly, and played well in the
first half.

The Mendy error somewhat changed the mood of the game,
so you take that goal away, and if Sterling executes on his
chances you’re looking at a completely different game.

and whatever sort of bounce carried them to CL is long gone

Hakim Ziyech is sitting on the bench while he asks Cucurella and Loftus-Cheek to create offense from wide positions. that makes no sense. he's completely rigid with dumb ass formations, so instead of adapting to what he has, he tries to make them adapt to what he does.

additionally, his inability to keep himself on anything resembling an even keel appears to be trickling down to his players. spring 2021 was a long time ago at this point, how much longer can it be everyone else's fault but his when things are going poorly?

"he's completely rigid with dumb ass formations, so instead of adapting to what he has, he tries to make them adapt to what he does. his inability to keep himself on anything resembling an even keel appears to be trickling down to his players."

SPOT ON.

There is no way those Tuchel Tantrums don't affect young attacking talent. Instead of building players up with confidence he does the exact opposite. Pulisic in particular has the shortest of leashes. Aside from the inevitable month or two on the bench after an average outing, Tuchel literally goes out of the way to not play him out wide on the left in a position he looked borderline world class in under Lampard.

I don't post to much here tho, but the lesson been kind of quiet.

You are rooting for PSV right? shame they didnt make it to the CL group phase. They couldve taken Rangers over those two games. Hopefully they will tear the EL up.

I'm still a bit weary of our new bald manager, hopefully he can get Ajax in shape with all the new players on the team and hopefully we can get Ziyech on board (I have trust in him and Schreuder together). We are not yet ready for the serious games.

The "wingers" in his 4-3-3 are really twin 10s playing off the striker's shoulders. So nominally to cover this, the midfielders play as ersatz fullbacks. But when they join the attack, as Ramsey and McGinn are wont to do, that leaves Konsa and Mings (who were also playing swapped sides for some reason) with acres to defend.

It's a great system when you're one of the two teams in a two-team league. It's fucking dreadful if you go up against a team with any physical prowess whatsoever.

DUMB talented, but just seems like his head is elsewhere 75% of the time. And maybe it is cuz we all know the "i played Sport X cuz i was just good at it but i didn't LOVE it" stories.

Maybe it's the rotating carousel of coaching since he's been with MU too.

i deadass got a little emotional seeing Rash put that away.

Group D is going to be a lot of fun: Spurs, Eintracht, Sporting and Marseille

Group C is nothing to fuck with: Bayern, Barca and Inter, with poor Viktoria Plzen in there to be cannon fodder

Group A is super 80s fun: Ajax, Liverpool, Napoli and Rangers

kinda choked away the league last year, outplayed Liverpool for much of the 180 minutes and came away with nothing to show for it, and failed to make it out of the group 2 years ago finish 4th behind Gladbach and Shakhtar Donetsk

gotta make a splash this year

In response to Reply # 0

He was piss poor from the start of the game. He picked up a yellow early on,
and he is way too young and raw to have been trusted to play
with a yellow for the rest of the match. However, Tuchel is banned from
coaching today’s match, so it wasn’t his decision.

RLC, James, Jorginho and the backline are playing well, but Cucurella, Sterling, Havertz
and Gallagher have been terrible.

Here is another game where we started off on the front foot, only to put ourselves
in a difficult situation by committing senseless errors.

This is the second game in a row where one of our players have been ejected, and
now Gallagher will not be available for the next match. We are already thin in the midfield
due to Kova and Kante being injured.

Let’s see what we do in the second half.

Thats the way to get things going.

Chelsea made a formation adjustment. Cucurella and James were pushed forward
as wingbacks to improve the attack. AZP,Chalobah and Silva are covering the back.
It’s somewhat of a 3-4-2.

The adjustment has definitely improved our play. Let’s get another goal and then
park the bus since we are one man down.

That was a beautiful first pass by Havertz. That guy can pass, and then James came
in with the assist.

Cucurella and James must play as wingbacks from here on out. Their attacking ability is
just too great for them to just play as fullbacks. They are both running circles around LC
at the moment.

Chelsea have been excellent so far in this second half…

MOTM for me, followed by Mendy, Sterling and James. RLC was solid too.

Considering we were down a man early on, it was a great win! We can build off this.

Kova returned to the pitch today! So that was good to see.

And we signed Fofana!!

God Damn. And we bought Fofana for close to 80 million.

Those dudes are not stars. I’m not sure if this is inflation or just lower level teams
knowing that big clubs are extremely desperate to fortify their teams, so they
are putting enormous price tags on average to good players.

What’s crazy is that Haaland went to MC for around 60 million. Now that’s
a player who should of went for 100 million or more.

like, even if he turns out to be an all time MU player...we gotta stop overpaying for these dudes.

at this point, it's like "if MU's interested? add 20-30 million."

and the shitty part is he already pledged fealty to ETH and told Ajax to kick rocks so now he's just in purgatory. we could have chilled until the winter transfer window, let him train on his own for a few months and paid way less.

i know we need help up front, but at what cost?

i hate it here.

French authorities are investigating claims that Paul Pogba, the World Cup winner and Juventus midfielder, has been the victim of threats and extortion attempts by his older brother, Mathias, and childhood friends.

The story broke Sunday after a bizarre video appeared on Mathias' social media accounts. In the two-minute, 41-second video, Mathias spoke four languages and read a pre-written message promising "big revelations" about Paul, Paul's representative Rafaela Pimenta and fellow French star Kylian Mbappé.

but it is somewhat expected. This team is going to be up and down until things
get sorted out at the management level and with squad personnel. It’s going to take
time for them to develop chemistry and play as a cohesive unit.

Also, Chelsea just played on Saturday, and had to play three days after that, and
they have another game to play this Saturday. That sure doesn’t make things any
easier.

Hopefully, Kante is back with the squad this weekend, and we get
our striker situation figured out.

mount and kai have been shit this season so instead of benching one or both of them after a three day turnaround, he starts them both again with Pulisic coming off the bench at fucking wingback.

what's even more infuriating was that his xG last season was the best out of all the attackers. and a whole bunch of those minutes were at fucking wingback. and the thing is, his goals were against upper-tier sides unlike others who padded their stats against shit teams.

the kid just can't get a run of games in a proper attacking position under this crazed madman, which is sad because the players ahead of him aren't better players, they just (allegedly) press better. with his anthony gordon fascination, tuchel clearly prefers headless chickens over skilled players.

And the Mount guy you speak of. Yes he is not playing well right now,
but he won Chelsea player of the year two years in a row.

playing so many games in one week doesn’t make the situation easier.

He is going to be to be out 3-4 weeks. We can’t transfer him in now. We might as well
wait until the winter transfer window….or just look for another striker.

At this point. I would be willing to try out a MLS player. There is some talent there

Don't have a sense of what kind of guy he is. Don't blame him for going to City. I mean, if your agent says, hey wanna go to the richest club in the best league and get great service from some of the greatest players in the world and win tons of silverware? Can't argue with that.

But once I see him play more, reckon I'll form some sort of superficial judgement about his character.

There’s an exuberance about him that is really funny given how much of an absolute brute he is. It’s like if you stuck a pair of cleats on Brock Lesnar

Good!

Game is like watching paint dry. First half was unentertaining.

PL record.

So we just reverted back to pre-2013 type of spending….everything Marina
built has been wiped out. We got fleeced on every deal.

80 mil for Fofana
70 million for Cucurella
50 million for Sterling

Todd cannot continue to be the DOF… every club will continue to fleece him because he
is American and knows nothing about football.
