the Ohio State pair at receiver seem safe, but I'm interested in Treylon Burks (Arkansas), Christian Watson (ND State) and Jalen Tolbert (South Alabama, watched him against Tennessee last year and was impressed) -- who all have more of a NFL difference-making profile

I like the outgoing Ohio State pair well enough, but they just don't pop physically for the NFL -- Olave is skinny and Wilson hits the bottom average height-weight chart. that doesn't mean they won't be good, but special traits win.
JSN's last month of the season has him a little skewered IMO ("generational receiver"? Ja'Marr Chase was literally just draft last year), so it'll be good to see him line up outside this fall.

casual thoughts since I only watched a few games each:
Willis is *way* too off-schedule for me, that's when he can shine but he needs to be drafted and stashed for a year or two (which probably won't happen if he's in the top ten)
Pickett is fine but isn't exciting, nothing about him screams franchise guy -- if you already have the other pieces he can steer the boat I guess
I want to like Ridder -- he makes some nice plays -- but he also go on a groundhog killing spree for two quarters
Howell and Corral are college quarterbacks that will hold clipboards at best

Main focus is the WR position. We lost Robinson to FA, and Pringle, who we recently acquired was arrested for reckless driving. So our only top receiver is Mooney. We need to draft at least 2 receivers, and then get some OL CB help.
Not a good start for our new GM ( I have now idea who the hell he is).

They traded five spots back to draft someone ostensibly worse at the same position.
(And I know I shouldn't say this,but Jahan Dotson having such a similar name to Josh Doctson who flamed out for us has me feeling a certain kind of way. Like it s h o u l d n' t matter, but it's the Commanders and Snyder and to have two J.D.'s flame out at the same position just seems on script)
