Dude was an encyclopedia of knowledge. I don’t consume ESPN as much as I used to, but it seemed like he wasn’t a visible presence in recent years anymore. RIP to a pioneer and overall contributor to the game of football.

On a side note, damn at only 67. My dad will be 69 in less than a week and he looks about 15-20 years younger than Clayton. Hopefully Clayton didn’t suffer long.

Gave ESPN so much of the credibility that its pissed away over the years.

Insider, actually admired, funny as hell, respected, etc.

That commercial is one of the all time greats.
