For all of his baggage he's still one of the best two or three guys on earth at doing his extremely difficult job. I've said this about Lebron and Durant and I think it applies here too...when someone is that elite I really don't think you can spend TOO much
He's a dick. They're gonna be screwed when he leaves and hamstrung to build while he's there. All that's true and that's going to eat up a lot of the dialogue around him as we discuss this contract. But there's really no denying that, at least at present, he's totally worth it.

But I believe he has said in the past he wanted to be a mentor and help out his backup due to the issues and strained relationship that he had with Favre when he was drafted and backing Favre up.
