Coby, Coby, Coby. I never thought I would be chanting such a name
in my life.

Kid nearly amassed a triple double the other night, even
though he didn’t shoot well.

AD is back to try and save the pathetic lakers...They don’t deserve
you AD

Jan 26th 2022
21
Kuz is doing his job and is having an allStar year.
Jan 26th 2022
23
What’s Kuzma an All-Star of? Surely you don’t mean the NBA.
Jan 26th 2022
29
Yea, some things don't deserve a response.
Jan 26th 2022
31
Kuz is basically 16/10 this year, and has hit so many big shots
Jan 26th 2022

Jan 26th 2022

Hm. I was told your defense would be fine without them.
Jan 26th 2022
43
And they are fine. Meaning they will compete and make the POs
Jan 26th 2022
45
Who said anything about them not making the playoffs?

I never said Kuz would get selected to the all star team
Jan 26th 2022
66
He’s not an all star. And worry about your own team.
Jan 26th 2022

In MY OPINION he should be an allStar,
Jan 26th 2022

Jan 27th 2022

AD has been very bad this year and extremely injury prone.
Jan 27th 2022
81
So clutch, his team is 2 games below .500
Jan 27th 2022

I mean - Kuzma's had his moments this year.

Jan 27th 2022

If he's an all star, he's top 15, minimum.
Jan 27th 2022

though the circumstances have thrust him into a more active role, before then, he could play without the pressure of needing to make something happen. Probably the 2nd biggest beneficiary of the changes next to Zach.

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.

I think Caruso getting injured then catching COVID was the best thing
for both him and Ayo. They got a ton of minutes and played well.
Not sure they play as much if both Ball and Caruso don't miss so much time.

And now, with Caruso out again, if the front office was thinking of trading him,
they shouldn't now. We're using every bit of guard depth we have right now.

I'm glad he's playing well. He's much improved over last year.
And it's not just his scoring. He's driving and finding guys much better, and it's helping.
Honestly I think the influence of DeRozan's playmaking ability is
rubbing off on the entire team, especially Ayo and White.

Someone told me that wasn't allowed on this thread. Can't remember who tho.

ANYWAY...AD is back. Let's see if there's any hope to be gleaned from the last 30 or so games (there isn't, but whatever...pressure's off now. Let's have some fun).

Honestly - just free up a roster spot.

He's cooked. Sign Stanley for the year, cut Trevor and DJ and hope for some buyout guys.

Ariza has played well and is still getting his legs

Stanley Johnson has had his moments but there are reasons he was in the g-league after being a lottery pick…

he's not there to score, he's there to be a 3&D wing which we're short of and are must haves in the league, at this point in his career he'll be more relied on in the playoffs than the regular season

need versatile defenders like him to help defend wing players so Lebron doesn't have to and Carmelo can't. Pelinka didn't think about wing defenders when he put together this roster and Vogel doesn't want to play our centers for whatever reason so in some lineups he has ended up at the 5.

I know in this fantasy/fanduel world defense isn't as sexy but its important.

He is doing 16/10 numbers almost every night.

The Wizard’s main problem is they have too many good/ offensive players,
and the coach is too busy focused on making sure that everyone
gets minutes.

The players on their bench would be starters on other teams

Bertans, Avdija, Kispert, Harrell, Bryant Hachimura.....

So moving all those pieces in and out of the lineup during a game
creates chemistry issues. They is why they always have highs and lows
throughout each game.

Every night you see them put up around 115-130 a game, because
of the many offensive weapons on the team....But when it comes to situational
basketball and closing out games, they suck at it because the coach doesn’t know
which lineup to go with. Gafford starts but doesn’t close out games, because he will
go with Harrell and Bryant down the stretch...knowing damn well neither one of them
can play defense. They are offensive guys only.

for the Wiz this year it’s ridiculous, and has played all but 2 games for the Wiz.
He is possibly their best player and is definitely their most consistent player.

For a stretch of nine games he avg 25/11 while shooting 54 percent
from the field. He’s scored 25-plus points five times and recorded six double-doubles.

Kuzma has started all 40 games in which he’s appeared this season, already eight more starts than he made in Los Angeles last season. His career-high 33.4 minutes per game are nearly five more than the 28.7 he averaged last season. His 21.6 usage rate this season – and 27.3 usage rate in his last nine games – ranks second on the team, trailing only Bradley Beal.

He ranks sixth in the NBA in total clutch minutes (88), which the league defines as any time the game is within five points with five-or-fewer minutes remaining. Among players that have played at least 50 clutch minutes this season, Kuzma ranks first in plus-minus (+59), first in 3-pointers made (14), seventh in points (65) and second in rebounds (26).

Argument can be made that he is the best clutch player in the league across
the board.....again he is a freaking + 59 with the game on the line. He is the
main reason they won the games that they have won this season.

But you knew that already, right? Lol

I swear you just like to type to type, and how is that Lakers top 3
working out for you? You saying that he isn’t even a top 25 player in the east
proves you know nothing....You seriously type that.

he is the possibly the best clutch player in the league, and you’re still in denial.

He is not the reason why they lose games, but he is the reason why they
win games.

More than likely Andrew Wiggins will make his first all star team this year. Kuzma
has similar numbers. Wiggins is the better 3pt shooter during regulation, but Kuzma’s
shooting is superior in the final moments of the game.

Wiggins:

Per: 15.8
Points: 18
Rebounds: 4
Fg: 48 pct
3pt: 40 pct

Kuzma:

Per: 18.4
Points: 16
Rebounds: 9
Fg: 45 pct
3pt: 32 pct

And again Kuzma has the best clutch stats across the board in the NBA,
so his game increases when the game is on the line. He is the main reason
why the Wizards are in PO contention....and Beal has missed games due to injuries
and Covid protocols.

But that’s not all star level?

Okay, pal. This must be some type of hate by lakers fan...because the numbers
say that you’re wrong. The lakers have 4 top 75 players and still have a similar
record to the wiz. Kuzma and the Wiz are overachieving and the Lakers are under
achieving based on lineup comparisons.

Nobody is given an All Star spot because of "clutch stats" so...stop. Wiggins MIGHT get an All Star bid which is attributed much more so to a) team success and b) narrative (which matters - should it? No, but it does.)

Again - I love Kuzma. He's one of the more malleable talents in the league. He can be a first option and put up numbers on a bad team, or he can drill down and be a great complimentary piece on a good one. He took a back seat on the Lakers to accept a bench role where he became a really nice defensive player who could score if needed.

But that doesn't make for an all star. There are more deserving players in the East than Kuz. I'd be shocked if he makes it. The dude's career has been really nice and I'm happy to see him thrive. You calling me a hater because I'm a Laker fan is really weird, especially when you're using the Lakers record to justify Kuzma's phantom all star bid.

They are superior when it matters, and not stat padding. Your
perception in basketball is way off.

Add his clutch performance with his complete game performance and Kuz
is an allStar and top 25 player in the east.

Watch some Wizards game and every night Kuz is the main player
putting in work, and he is their most available player.

The poll itself, I get. The poll itself lends itself to wisdom of the crowd, which is a valid, particularly as a means of collecting data for a best educated guess on something.

Ask 20 people how many coins are in a jar, and there's a good chance that the average guess winds up close to the real number.

But whether or not the crowd agrees or disagrees, particularly on something as subjective as this (despite obvious objective metrics we can use to arrive at a conclusion, the parameters of this- top 25 in the east- is gray enough that it's still a subjective proposition) is immaterial to whether or not a proposition is correct, or even has merit theoretically.

But you know all this- which makes it worse, IMO.

So running to a poll to settle a discussion point is a little weak IMO. the poll itself presents a good discussion point, but that doesn't win the argument, even you get 100% "no" to the poll.

This is a friendly critique, FYI, because I think you're better than that.

I really just did it (a) to see if anyone thought it was worth arguing/discussing, and (b) to see if there really was any sort of popular consensus. Sometimes I'm the one that's out of touch.

Although, yes, I couldn't help but throw the "know nothing" insult he tossed at me back into my reply. If it's a little beneath me to respond to his insults with a suggestion that perhaps he shouldn't be lobbing those insults at me when everyone might agree with my take on this, then fair enough, I reckon. Lord knows there are certain forms of bait and certain takes rooted in factually inaccurate statistics that just shouldn't be responded to, and I'm not always the best at just letting perceived insanity exist without rebuttal.

But yes, I realize that poll results don't make something true, lol. Besides, as you noted, there's no way for there to be a "real answer" on this anyway. There was no way I was going to convince him that he's wrong, and there certainly wasn't anything he was saying that was convincing me I was wrong. But I did think a poll would inspire a few "obviously" or "obviously not" replies from people worth listening to, which would at least help me take the temperature of whether I was completely off-base in my thinking-- or if it was closer to true than I was considering-- and maybe would inspire similar thoughts from the other party in this debate, although I realize that's incredibly wishful thinking.

More than anything else, I'm just depressed a poll like that got so little action. Feels like in 2014, that shit would've had a lot more back-and-forth. Sigh, the slow heat death of OKP is depressing to witness sometimes, lol.

In the post game presser
A reporter asked what responsibility was the HC's for blowing the lead
He did the Tomlin...you wouldn't ask Pop that question
Greg Popovich he is not
This team blows big leads
He has a history as HC of blowing leads
See game 7 vs ATL
Blowing 3-1 leads
and IRT this game, he shortened the bench up 24 in the 3rd

It's interesting watching EMVPiid's maturation into a leader
Down to the Pelle's at half time
he raised his hand and told his team
That's on me, I gotta do a better job on D

Glenn deflects accountability while preaching it
He's fortunate Little Ben casts a big shadow
He was #2 on the hit list for last year's 2nd round exit.

Brooklyn would be such a flaming bullshit team fully assembled. But Dr. K decides he's going to play part time, and the unfortunate injuries including to Durant got them looking thin.

but they have some nice players down the rotation. Edwards is a bit of a surprise. And there's LA in the back pocket.

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.

you ever see someone and think "how does that guy have any friends?" and then you meet his friends and you're like "oh this makes perfect sense"

I sorta knew that he was a pussy from burner accounts to letting draymond disrespect him and run him out of town

Harden just wants to wear his little purses and hoop, without all of the burden like in Houston. Philly would be perfect

(when motivated, he works hard as hell. I hardly ever remember him missing games in a rockets jersey)

1. (as I've stated on here before) Caruso is a coach on the floor.
That game against the Cavs was the first time this year we'd looked that good since November and December.

2. The Bulls are going to struggle against the elite and mid-tier teams until both Caruso and Ball return.
Our defense is perimeter based, so with those guys out
the Bulls are just gonna have to hope we can outscore teams.

3. Fully healthy I think this team can reach the Finals.

And we are better defensively with Ball and Caruso on the floor. However,
Green provides a defensive impact inside, which will allow us to still compete
at a top level against the best teams in the NBA. We will be able to maintain
our top 5 East status.

Also, due to our defense being perimeter based, we are vulnerable against
teams with dominant big men. So even when fully healthy, we still lack NBA finals
potential. We are just too weak inside to be able to get to the NBA finals. I can
see us making it to the second round, and a slim chance of getting to the conference
finals.

One thing I realized against Orlando with Ball and Caruso out is, we are very poor
with dealing with ball pressure. Ayo was our best ball handling guard on the floor,
and even he had issues dealing with Orlando’s defensive pressure. Lavine and
White have already proven to be bad in those situations when they were the
main ball handlers in previous years, because neither are pure PGs. They are
scorers. They can handle the ball in normal situations and run the offense,
and they can get assists. But when it comes to effectively getting out of traps and full
court pressure, they are extremely shaky.

We have other players like Green, Cook and Mckennie who
will contribute on defense....so we will not completely fall
off a cliff.

You’re the same guy who said Rondo was completely washed,
and then he helped the lakers to win a chip and is now helping the
Cavs.

Your takes need some work.

I've already taken the L on Rondo. He was absolutely instrumental in the 2020 title. He's useful in spurts and better served on the Cavs (he wasn't gonna help the Lakers this year).

He's not the guy he once was, but he's not totally useless.

Now...when are you gonna own up to being wrong...ever?

Not that he will....but I understand you need wins due to the

Just admit you got sensitive about one of your players getting injured and said something stupid. This isn’t hard. You’re making it hard. It’s weird.

Whatever his "clutch" factor, it's not contributing meaningfully to the actual success of his team.

He's on a team with a legitimate all star, mind you, in Bradley Beal.

If Kuz were truly an all-star caliber player- particularly at this stage- his numbers would be higher across the board, and his team would be winning more games.

They aren't.
Because he's not. He's a good role player.

He's not a defensive standout.
He's not a sniper from 3.

He's not even the #2 man on a playoff team- and that's really all that needs to be said here. No amount of cherry picking can change this set of facts.

You've shifted to this, "IN MY OPINION" nonsense, and I think that's telling that you know you don't have much of a leg to stand on here.

You've already conceded that "maybe top 25 in the east"- which, sorry to say, is an admission that you know he's not an All Star. If you were arguing top 15, perhaps you'd have a case.

But you've already conceded to a spot that is definitionally outside of All Star caliber.

And you've definitionally lost this discussion, because none of your points have any merit toward the conclusion of the premise.

You unarguably deaded your argument for all star the second you conceded that top 25 was, at best, a "maybe".

Now, can you concede for once? Because this is pretty thorough.

And he hit those couple of game winners, so he has been clutch for sure. I just don't understand this argument that "clutch" stats are even a FACTOR in all star selections. Sure - often times, the stars of teams have the ball in their hands at the end of the game - so that kinda tracks. And Kuz was playing without Beal for awhile...so, he was kinda the go to guy for the Wiz.

But arguing if someone is in the top 25 in a conference (and honestly...maybe he cracks that, maybe he doesn't. I say top 30 to be safe) clearly doesn't matter in an all star selection either given that's twice as many people as are named to the team.

Laker fans know that what we're seeing from Kuz right now isn't abnormal. He played on a team where he was tied for the leading scorer as a rookie (at higher than what his PPG is right now), and then he started playing with Lebron - so he took a back seat. Him spreading his wings after being out from under several ball dominant guys is not at all a revelation. He's BEEN this guy - which is to say - a nice complementary piece. COULD he be an all star? Sure. He won't this year. And no amount of "clutch" stats matter in that discussion, period.

But I think the sticking point here, is that All Stah conceded the all star argument the second he conceded that top 25 was a maybe.

And I think he knows that, even if he won't admit it.

I was accepting that from YOU as your opinion....to end the
debate.

It wasn’t my opinion. That was yours, and I said cool I’ll accept that
from you, that at least YOU see him as - maybe - a top 25 player.

And I didn’t go from allStar to top 25. Those were two separate
arguments, because Frank said that he isn’t even top 25.

I’m saying that he is a top 25 player in the east and that he is also having an allStar
caliber season.

But it's cool- you're delusional and there's no getting through a delusion.

It's funny, because there were several other points in there that clearly demonstrate why he isn't an all star this year, or really even close.

But again- you're delusional.

Actually, if I'm being honest, this is clearly just another leg of your anti-Laker/Brawn gimmick, trying to cyse a dude who did not work out on our current roster as some sort of gotcha.

This isn't hard to understand!!!

That makes no sense. There have been several players to make allStar teams
who are not top 15.

Conley made the allStar team and wasn’t top 15....Wiggins isn’t top 15
and neither is Allen.

Top 15 minimum?

You’re highly incorrect.

One position could be loaded with top 15 players in the conference, so other positions
are not going to have top 15 players.

You clearly don’t make sense.

I'm not that guy. That's a really good point that I didn't consider.

You made a valid point, and I was wrong.

Unlike you, I really don't have an issue admitting it.

Of course, this then turn the conversation to the best forwards out east

Off top, we got:

KD
Tatum
Giannis
Sabonis
Randle
Siakim
John Collins
Jerami Grant

That's 8 forwards that anybody with any sense is taking over Kuz, without thinking twice.

Kuz ain't cracking that this year. From pretty much every angle, Kuz isn't an all star.

And no, it's not remotely up for debate, no matter how much you want to cherry pick and cyse, as though dude exists in a vacuum.

since all 3 of Giannis, Jrue and Middleton were there this time around. JBB really looked like he was coaching against their tendencies this time, especially to limit Jrue's impact on the game.

only bummer of the game is that DG missed out on cracking the LeBron record of 5 games in a row with 10 or more assists (he had 8; had to leave the game due to nagging back troubles).

In response to Reply # 70

He shot <30 percent from 3 his whole career… then spikes to 41% last year even with a huge workload. If the Knicks signed him to that deal assuming no regression was ever coming, well, that’s on them, lol. Regression was always coming.

Outside of the shooting, he’s not too dissimilar to last year. Better rebounding rate than last year, second best assist rate of his career, the defense is still the same mediocre-to-bad D he’s always had. He’s still Randle, and he’s still probably a more well-rounded player than he’d been for most of his pre-Knicks career.

It’s just that the shooting regressed to where it’s been for most of his career. But he’s still taking jumpers like he did last year when they were all falling.

For whatever reasons, he took a sizable discount when he re-signed, so his contract shouldn't be a major concern for most Knicks fans. He's not even making over $30 million per year at the highest his contact will reach. Not that bad compared to all time worst contracts based on what max players can earn.

He has been playing pretty badly though as of late, that's for sure.

In response to Reply # 100

He's the clear front-runner in my book. One could certainly also argue for Monty, kind of a 2-for-1 praise for this year and acknowledgement of last year. But I'd go Bickerstaff. That team came along *insanely* quickly, in a year where I could've sworn they'd miss the playoffs.

Would also put Taylor Jenkins in my top 3. Wouldn't be mad if he won...

... but yeah. I'd go Bickerstaff today without hesitation.

game. That was just reported.

I’m calling bullshit. There are only 2 games on the slate tonight. I’m starting
to notice a pattern. Whenever there are only two games scheduled, a star
player mysteriously comes up injured or ill.

I swear it’s related to betting to sway games a certain way, especially in
fantasy. Now that betting platforms are sponsoring leagues there are billions
and billions of dollars on the line. And since money will be concentrated on
only 2 games, and those two games will be prime time games, there will be
an immense amount of big bets placed

Games and lineups are harder to predict when certain players are scratched,
or simply listed as doubtful or questionable.

If he plays tomorrow, I’m calling rigged.

Why sit him out for a prime time game against a contender, but play
him against the Hornets tomorrow?

All those people who put there bets in before now, just
got focked.

He told him to get in the corner boy or called him a boy....that’s nothing
compared to what a lot of hecklers say.

Keep it moving and keep hooping. If an object is thrown, or he gets attack, then
that’s a problem, but words?

Carmelo made more of that than what it was. Focus on the game and keep it moving.

Fans are going say all types of shit to rattle you.

That’s soft as hell. He is getting killed by the sixers, and he is worried about
the fans verbally berating him.

I remember when fans used to yell “Fuck Kobe Bryant” when he was hooping...dude
just kept hooping.

Someone saying boy or telling him what to do his pillow talk compared to
some of the belittling comments I have heard fans say to athletes.

And don’t even get me started on Hockey or Soccer.

Are you going to kick every fan/heckler out of the building?

Are you going to go up to every fan that says something disparaging
about you?

It’s nonsense.

Carmelo leaving the court to approach a fan could have led to something
dangerous, and he would have been perceived as the perpetrator.

Let your game do the talking and keep it moving...The only thing
that requires a response is something physical.

Lebron/Carmelo/Russ are the ones pointing out fans for heckling while
getting destroyed on the basketball court...focus on the game.
The only thing that crosses the line is an assault or punch.

And I’m sure the NBA has even cracked down more since the bullshit last year.

One minute it’s just words then they’re throwing shit then the next thing you know you have a Malice at the Palace situation.

Fans need to understand just because they bought a ticket doesn’t give the right to be childish assholes. It’s not just towards the players there are families with small children in these arenas. Sometimes these douchebags will seek out the players’ families and harass them.

I’d imagine Melo has heard his fair share of heckling in the last 19 years. For him to actually be upset by something - I figured it wasn’t fun of the mill shit talk. And it wasn’t.

An excellent three point shooter and floor spacer.

that's it.

And that's the only context in which I've ever seen anyone discuss him.

I think the Westbrook deal is a gamble you just have to make. But in hindsight, that was probably the better deal.

Doesn't mean we'd be much better than we are, if at all, for several reasons. But people who were citing him as a better fit? They were probably right. And I haven't seen anyone talk about him like he's a super star, though he could have potentially been a difference maker

It's about having a guy who can provide spacing and hit 3s - something this team is severely lacking. It's about fit, which is what the knock on Westbrook was from the second the trade was rumored. I'm one of these - but MANY people just thought that the talent level is too high amongst these 3 dudes and they'd figure it out.

Ultimately - this team is probably not all that much better with Hield (assuming we give up like 2 of KCP/Trez/Kuz). Maybe if you get Hield and keep Caruso over THT. Maybe. Who knows.

The fact is the front office went away from what works - which is complementary pieces around Bron/AD that play hard defense and hit open shots. This rag tag mercenary group just ain't it. That's as much on Bron/AD as Rob/Jeannie (if the reports are to be believed, anyway) but I can say this: the Lebron James experience is super weird. Outside of AD, I've just learned to not get too attached to any of these players. He'll bring you a title, but it'll be a lot of turnover too.

Right, I believe I was one of the first people here who said they're going to have playoff issues due to spacing, but just assumed due to talent level-- and due to Russy's normal track record in the regular season as a very strong regular season player-- that it would work out well enough to secure a high seed. The vast majority of people thought that.

But spacing was always going to end up being the biggest issue. It's honestly even an issue for Bron and AD-- Bron is a very average-at-best distance shooter, and AD isn't really a shooter either. It's like an upgraded, more talented version of the problem Embiid and Simmons were facing together. You can win a lot of regular season games on talent alone. You will not be the best of the best without spacing.

And maybe the problems the Lakers are facing aren't just indicative of their own issues. They may also be indicative of the fact that the league in general is improving at defending teams who can't space. Even the worse teams might be figuring out how to crack that code.

>Ultimately - this team is probably not all that much better
>with Hield (assuming we give up like 2 of KCP/Trez/Kuz). Maybe
>if you get Hield and keep Caruso over THT. Maybe. Who knows.

I generally agree, but I also wonder if Buddy, not unlike Wiggins, is just getting beaten down by a bad franchise that doesn't want him but can't really let him just walk. This is Hield's worst season to date, and I've got to think if he found greener pastures, he could potentially unlock that next level. And there's no doubt in my mind he'd be a better playoff fit than Russ would. Whether he gets the Lakers to the Finals alone with his spacing is definitely a fair question-- and I don't think he's helping with the biggest issue the Lakers will face, who guards CP3/Book and who guards Steph/Klay. Because the other bad thing about your stars not being big time 3-point threats is it's reeeeeal hard to beat teams that can shoot when you need to score with 2s and FTs.

Not to mention AD went nuclear in the bubble, so that helped a little bit.

AD went nuclear last night, if we get that AD in the playoffs with the LeBron we've had most of the year we'll be a formidable opponent for anybody

AD was 57/38/83 in the Bubble. Despite last night he hasn’t come close to that since. Which is fine - it’s an unsustainable thing and we should never expect him to shoot 38% from 3. If you do you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

Conventional wisdom had Lakers, Suns, Jazz, and Warriors in the Top 4 in some order. Don't regret making the bet at all. (Glad I only have to pay out to one person though, lol)

I still think that the 5th seed is even in play, truth be told. They're only 4 games back, just need full health and a couple of balls to bounce their way. But yeah, home court first round feels unlikely unless a favorite faces disaster, and the 3 seed is obviously exceeeeedingly unlikely, lol.

181. "Jokic is having a better season than his MVP season."
In response to Reply # 176

That's the crux of the argument, really. He won the MVP because he had one of the most efficient offensive seasons in the history of the NBA... and this season, he's having an even *more* efficient season. And he's playing the best defense of his career, to the point where he's one of the better defensive bigs in the NBA.

I mean, here are the statistical resumes, without the names attached.

PLAYER A:
26.2 PPG
13.8 RPG
7.7 APG
1.4 SPG
.7 BPG

PER: 33.1 (1st in the NBA)
True shooting %: 65.3%
Win shares: 9.1 (1st in the NBA)
Win shares per 48: .305 (1st in the NBA)
+/-: 14.3 (1st in the NBA)
Offensive +/-: 9.6 (1st in the NBA)
Defensive +/-: 4.7
VORP: 5.9 (1st in the NBA)

PLAYER B:
28.9 PPG
10.7 RPG
4.3 APG
1 SPG
1.5 BPG

PER: 31.4
True shooting %: 61%
Win shares: 6.6
Win shares per 48: .260
+/-: 9.1
Offensive +/-: 7.2
Defensive +/-: 2
VORP: 3.4

I mean, looking at resumes without names attached, it's pretty clear who's having the better statistical season. It's not even really that close. Jokic is having, once again, one of the best statistical offensive seasons in the modern era of the NBA.

And the Nuggets only have two more losses than the Sixers, despite the fact that I'd argue they are down even more talent than the Sixers are. So we can't even use the "Embiid's team is way better than Jokic's" argument, because it's... just not true.

Embiid is a First Team All-NBA stone cold lock, and If you said in the month of January he's been the best player in the NBA, I wouldn't argue against it. He's been absolutely absurd this month.

But yeah, I mean... the numbers don't lie.

Steve Nash has been getting outcoaching ALL season looking. Look at his record vs the top teams in the league, it's abysmal. He feasts on the bottom dwellers with this boring bullshit ass ISO ISO ISO basketball and relies on KD and Harden to do EVERYTHING. His lineups and rotation are GARBAGE, something that Harden also pointed out.

Not to mention he's a complete eunuch when it comes to dealing with his stars. Absolutely spineless, and just a babysitter for these egos.

He still worships at Kyrie's altar and its nauseating.

You need to take a rest from these bullshit ass takes. Go outside and build a snowman.

With your reply, you got some other things swirling around you.

You get some sleep, and come back as a better poster.

In response to Reply # 194

not one point. Look, you obviously have no reason to give a shit about anything I say, as I’m just a guy on the internet…but, this is honestly why I try not to interact with you. You’re clearly a very intelligent person, but you do this thing where anything you say is absolutely word is bond and completely unassailable. Anything anyone else says that runs counter to you, you either do some type of bullshit deflection or ignore it altogether. You do it so much, I’m honestly surprised people actually still reply to you anymore. Everything he said about Nash and that was your reply…and you EDITED to that.

This is not good basketball. We had score 130 points to beat a bad
Portland team.

We gave up 35 points in the first quarter.

Our star players have to be willing to play defense, to get gritty, to
take charges. A rookie shouldn’t be able show you up in those
areas, but that is what AYO is doing.
