and welcome back, Demarcus Lawrence. First game since Week 1. Having DLaw on the field with the way Parsons has come on…and Randy Gregory coming back soon is going to be fun to see.

these past 4 weeks have been rough. that falcons win gave some hope but as a whole it has been frustrating. i know injuries have been plentiful but gotta get some wins.

ill gladly trade a great dec/jan with healthy players for a rough november though.

i do hope amari is effective, the reports have me worried that he wont have an impact this game if he does play. (my fantasy team definitely needs numbers from him lol) i would think having all three in there will let at least a couple of them eat even if amari is just a decoy.

im sure dlaw has a great impact but as a fan its hard to see it. i would love to see him get a sack or two. hopefully they dont have parsons sit back since dlaw is back. i want to see them both on the line tonight.

he was fined for the stuff you mentioned.

but he/packers reported his actual (un)vaccination status accurately (he even went through the proper means to try to obtain an exemption). so no suspension like ab.

I don't know how much 'reporting' I believe in either case. AB 'reports' say he showed up to training camp with fake card, was talked out of it and got vaccinated so wouldn't be violating anything really if that is the case. Im not sure I really believe that tho.

but I can't believe a QB who is basically the "Raiders Marcus Mariota" is getting this kind of short leash.

Good. The offense plays better with him as the QB,
and we are still in the PO Hunt. I believe we can keep
Murray and Hopkins in check and make it a slow, gritty
affair.

Let’s work.

their entire offseason has shown they have no idea which way is up

not to say Brady is unassailable -- he doesn't have any proven success as a NFL coordinator -- but the kneejerk reactions (trade significant draft capital for Darnold, then bench him when he plays the way he always has, drafting a CB instead of a QB, giving away all their 2022 picks) show their philosophy is all fucked up

and running the team like an idiot who was a minority owner and thought you could just throw money and players on the field and it would work.

Heard Tepper wanted Teddy gone

but they had an interim GM in Hurney who was able to make moves even tho he was rumored to be on his way out.

and gave Rhule a shit load of money off rip AND let him hire Joe Brady who to this day is somehow given all the credit for Joe Burrow’s success when he wasn’t even the OC at LSU.

He went scared money against one of the worst ‘dealing with pressure’ starting qbs in the league. Even with that, the execution was wtf material. I couldn’t believe any of it.

I can’t imagine the fire Zimmer talk would get quieter after that.

The defense made stops and kept us in it, but Dalton had one of
his worst games of the season decision wise. However, 2 of those
interceptions weren’t on him. One was a tipped pass, and the other
Cmet couldn’t maintain.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Nagy gets canned tomorrow.

The Eagles defense has great individual performances, but are basically as mediocre as it gets as a unit.

Minshew played alright in relief of Jalen Hurts. The offense still has a habit of crapping out in the red zone and settling for FGs. Which was fine against the Jets.

I forgot that Minshew's arm is straight noodle. Explains why he never rose the ranks in Jacksonville, I guess.

Thank the Matrix for an upcoming bye.

absolutely massive game against the Rams next week. if the Cardinals want home field advantage they need to start proving it bc we've been losing home games against good teams.

You CAN get crazy and do some combo of both sometimes too (Andy Reid). AKA everything doesn't have to be this OR that no matter what the POLARIZE EVERYTHING stuff we all see basically everywhere now.

If you mess up the people part AND you lack the results? You can mess around and be Adam Gase, who is currently an offensive coordinator at a high school in or around his home town. He's 43. Maybe his phone will ring again someday for a biggish gig but who would be shocked if it didn't?

Ole Danny Kneecaps is probably not a NFL head coach, but it is cool to see folks trying like hell on his behalf...especially in this time and space where people generally can't wait to aggressively attach themselves to positive results / run as far away as possible from bad results.

>WTF Doc?!?! You know we are getting a Pats/Brady SB circle

Out of

NFC: Cards, Packers, Cowboys, Sucs, Rams, WFT*
AFC: Chiefs, Ravens, Cheats, Titans**, Bills, Chargers***

Arizona might be our only NFC hope because the Packers have ass DBs.

The Rams have "Bills" like problems. They win with finesse, have a lot of good individual players but I don't trust them to keep the BS to a minimum.

Forget the NFC East. Dallas isn't cooked yet but I don't like their trajectory. WFT is on the rise and they might sneak in on the wildcard beside the Rams. But they won't get ref "respect" like they should have with Heinicke behind center last time.

The NFC North is the Packers. Q-Aaron is good enough, and so is the Packers offense. The Packers defense, though...

In the AFC:

Vrabel can beat NE, but the Titans are missing their WMD players. And if the Colts capitalize.... I just dunno. Inconsistent.

The AFC North is LOL. I expect Baltimore to win it, but I don't trust their inconsistency in the playoffs. It's such that looking at the remaining schedules for BOTH teams... the Steelers COULD take the division. It's that bad.

AFC West. No team is consistent. Donkeys ain't real. Chargers started off with a spark but now they're looking like Bungles West.

And the Raiders... LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Which leaves Andy. And the Chiefs defense is actually holding teams to low scores since the Dallas game.

I looked at NE's schedule: Colts, Bills again, Jags, Fins.

They could easily run the table there.

This sucks

* - could be Eagles, but I do not trust their defense and they lost to the Giants once already.

** - they could switch places with the Colts
*** - in case of Titans collapse and Colts capitalizing

Yes, I'm mad. Let's move on.

I thought you were insane, but it sticks out to me when you said ASU does a good job of getting him the ball quickly and he doesnt rely on having to get open 1 on 1 vs coverage most of the time. I was blinded by this because he made a few incredible hail mary catches.

tough to say he'd be better anywhere else. NE has to be brutal for a first round pick expecting it to be an "easy" transition. you have to be absolutely on it without distractions. and him coming from Arizona State, basically the mecca of distractions, tough spot for him to come to.
