that first year with fertitta it seemed like everyone was on the same page but then he started cutting costs and tried to buy a chip for the low even though he had the most unstoppable scorer of the past decade(s?) in his prime. all he had to do was go into the luxury tax for some real shooters and defenders and he wouldn't do it. if he's not interested in fostering a winning culture with morey, harden, and d'antoni — all legends with inimitable pedigrees — he damn sure doesn't care about rookies and 2nd-years, players, coaches, and GMs included. all he's thinking about is recouping and paying back the loan he took to buy the team. that's not conducive to creating an enviroment for talent to thrive in
