My wife got a preclampsia dx during labor so they had to stay in the hospital for a few days after he was born Tuesday morning, but we have finally landed at the homestead with a healthy mom and baby.
Quite the radical paradigm shift (no Mox-o). Now i just gotta figure out how to get him into the Ajax youth academy...

Christian Pulisic actually played for the club a few miles down the road as a youth for a period of time, and a kid from my h.s. (Josh Gatt) actually got some run with the USMNT in the aughts. we just wanna reason to move to Europe lol
I always tell new parents this -- but enjoy the moment(s) right now and let time be slow. Its so surreal to see how this is one of the biggest moments of your life but the world around you moves on like "normal" outside. Appreciate, relish it, take all the time off you want/can.
Im actually not too far from you in Michigan. My sister got married this week.

Congratulations!
Expecting my second child and first boy in November. I was expecting another girl, so I had to throw out my list of names and now wrestling with whether or not to circumcise. Shit is complicated!
Anyway, I am glad everyone is home, happy and healthy. It's a blessing.

- Now in my first serious relationship since my divorce 5 years ago, and it's going really well. If it continues, will be looking to relocate to Atlanta late this year/early next year - Starting a scrum master boot camp later this month. Hoping to earn that cert in the fall and transition into PM - Since the last GD post (that I posted in, at least) I've gotten a promotion and two raises. This was both the first promotion and raise I've received after a lot of lateral moves across different career paths since graduating college 11 years ago, so this has been a really good year for me after an overall trash 2010s - Been doing boxing and Muay Thai intermittently and intrigued by trying BJJ, but am in kind of a (physical) funk where I really don't feel like doing any of the three. This is the first time since I started boxing/Muay Thai two years ago that I felt this way. Hoping that it comes back
