"Pale Hose and the rebirth of La Russa "

I’m hitting baseball early. The Sox are just too fun not to watch. This team
competes every night, and every single game so far has been tight going into
the 9th inning.

Tim Anderson is still out, and Jimenez will be out for 4 months. Those
are two MVP caliber players that the Sox are missing, but are still finding a way
to get it done.

They beat the tribe last night by scoring the go ahead run in the bottom of the 9th.

The Sox lost in the 10th. This team played another game where they were
competitive to the very end. They make you work. It was L.
Pitching was on point by both teams. Scoreless innings until extra innings.

This team will be battle tested tremendously come the fall.

I didn't like the hiring at first. It seemed another safe hire by Reinsdorf where he hired an old friend. Why would he hire an old white man who has spoken in favor of baseball's unwritten rules to manage a team of young players who don't care about these unwritten rules.

I know it was only 1 game, but he admitted he left a relief pitcher in too long in Seattle so hopefully, he is just learning his pitching staff.

But as a White Sox fan, I agree that they will be a fun team to watch and will gladly admit I was wrong about the La Russa hiring if they win a playoff series or two.

After his injuries over the past few years I was happy for him!
Although I am unsure about LaRussa, I am glad they finally god rid of Don Cooper. He was praised as a great pitching coach but their prospects always under achieved and Giolito improved after seeking outside help.
Hopefully, the new pitching coach will have better results.
