4th in the country in Quad 1 wins. Won easily over Kansas, easily over Iowa, easily over Virginia. Struggled with BYU for a half when BYU shot 70% from 3... then still beat them by double figures. Struggled with 3 seed West Virginia for a half because Jalen Suggs left the game with an injury... then still beat them.

Their offense is maybe the best I've seen in... twenty years. Villanova in 2018 level good. They have the best shooter in the field. They have an All-American big man. They have a Top 3 pick in next year's draft. They have a veteran 3-and-D wing. They have depth. They have a Hall of Fame coach.

Plus they have the easiest path. They already beat the brakes off Iowa. Kansas will be missing key pieces due to COVID first weekend. Virginia won't be able to practice at all before the first weekend. Creighton limped across the finish line this season. Like... I'd be interested in a prop bet where they don't win by less than single digits opening weekend. (They won 7 of 8 Q1 wins this season by double digits.) So their odds at a Final Four... I haven't seen the lines, but they've got to be the heaviest Final Four favorite by a pretty wide margin.

They can still lose beyond that, of course. Illinois's been hot, Houston's been hot. If Primo's back for Alabama, they've been hot. Baylor has struggled with defense coming out of COVID, but if they find their rhythm, they can absolutely win the thing. Shit, UConn's been white hot, that's a good sleeper for those interested.

But safe money? Yeah. Zags. Best team all year, safest road to the Final Four, two Top 10 picks on the roster.

tourney and regular season conference!
