We still do this here?? We should. I'm very excited about this season...Lakers are still the favorite but there's a lot of good teams that could make a run and find themselves in a Conf Finals...It should be good.
So what you got in the standings, playoffs and Finals?

bummer that there's no Klay, but Warriors will surprise. Steph will still be Steph and there's been a year since people have had to defend his BS.
Gonna be cookin off Wiggins on that team though.
East wise? I like Miami. Milwaukee is still good, and Giannis is secured. The Nets give me Clipper vibes but I'm in it for the comedy. Boston good. Raptors better. Beyond these teams it's a toss up. Miami was the sneak-in last season, don't know if I like an East team to do that this year.
Lakers kind of like Chiefs in the NFL. I'll believe anyone else if and when they get beat.

ECF Mil over Bos, as much as it hurts me to pick this the Celts haven’t had the kind of off-season that inspires much confidence, though that will give Tatum, Brown, and Smart more opportunity to grow and I’m glad to be rid of Hayward.
West 1. LAL 2. Den 3. LAC 4. DAL 5. Por 6. Utah 7. Hou 8. Phx Pelicans are knocking on the door, but Idk who out of these teams takes enough of a step back to let them in. I have a feeling shit is gonna go sideways for the Warriors again with Klay out. Maybe they even tank again.

Finals Mil over LAL
It’s tough to pick against the Lakers here, but having such a short offseason hurts them the most. I think they come back and win it all again in 2022, maybe at the expense of the Celts, which lights a fire under Boston’s ass to beat them in 2023, setting up a rubber match for title 19 in 2024.
I predicted the next 4 years everyone, y’all can go home.

I think Lebron takes some much needed rest at some point during the year, even if its like a 2-3 week break. I'd be shocked to see them as the #1 seed bc they really don't need it.
That being said, I still like the Clips on paper and feel like they should be the best team in a seven game series. Don't mean they won't shit the bed per usual

is but I think Portland and Memphis will be better than people think and I don't think GS will be as good as people think.
I have no idea about the East. I hope Bud gets fired in Milwaukee. Where are the Raps playing home games? I think Boston will be really good. It will interesting to see if the young guys in Miami can continue to step up. I think Doc can get more out of those guys in Philly.

We'll see how things go with Canadian travel restrictions. And the vaccine. The league is apparently pushing hard to jump the line and get the players vaccinated as soon as possible. Money talks so it will probably happen.

You know dem folks ain't gonna like that. The NFL has gone in the opposite direction...saying that they are NOT gonna jump the line. Can you image the Lebron hate that's gonna come from this?

Also with your setup, Nets and celts would meet in the semis
