"Tyronn Lue has a new slate, so he now has my support."
I wasn’t a fan, and I didn’t think much of him as a coach. However, that was based on the fact that he was given a team with LbJ, Love, and Irving. All he had to do was show up.
That was my original take. However, I let it marinate a bit. He is taking over a toxic situation, where a coach was just fired, and there are lot of players who are unhappy with their roles ( Zubak not getting tick, special treatment to Kawhi and George, etc).
He is taking on a heavy position, so I’m going to see what he has to offer.

And if Lue gets the boot, he will slide right in. I think Kenny really wanted that bulls job. Rockets and Thunder are still available. The Thunder would have been ideal, because of the young talent on their roster. But that probably wasn’t as attractive as being an assistant on a big market basketball team, with an easier road to getting a championship. Plus having to coach Chris Paul isn’t the most wanting situation for some coaches.
I really wanted him in Chicago. But Donovan is the next best thing....so Chicago jumped on that shit as soon as he put in his resignation.

But you in here on Christmas weekend talking about a loss, when all the top teams got blown out ...because of it being Christmas weekend and being without players .
Please sit down somewhere and drink some eggnog and watch a Christmas movie.
