Shai was the leading scorer on a team with a better record. To me that means something on a lot of nights Ingram was just gunning. Can he be the leading scorer on a team with a winning record?

All hyperbole, upside, and potential aside - do you seriously think that the Pels have a better roster right today than the Thunder?
They don't. The Thunder are a better team - that should be obvious. Top to bottom, they are better. But in a vaccuum - if you take Shai off that team and add Ingram, do you think they're better or worse? The answer should be quite obvious. Another question - are the Pelicans better off adding Shai in place of BI? That is laughable to think about.
Shai is very good, but let's not act like he's the best piece of the Thunder. Or the 2nd best.

But with - 21 pts, 5.1 rebs, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.3 blocks, 3.1 TO on 44/38/83 splits
Without - 24.4 pts, 6.7 rebs, 4.4 assists, 0.9 steals, 0.8 blocks, 3.0 TO on 47/40/86 splits
But again - you could argue Zion is the most important piece for the Pels (they were near .500 with him, but it was only those 22 games). We don't know what a CP3 or Adams or Schroeder-less Thunder team looks like but BI balled the fuck out with and without Zion.

Dude is 23. But at the top of the list is a dude who shoots 30 percent from 3, and who is going to be white Oliver Miller fat eating those euro meat pies.
1. Doncic - Can't wait to watch the rest of this kid's career. He's the only guy on the list I could see winning the MVP next season.
2. Tatum - He's God. Last year made me nervous about his progression, but he's made up for that and then some this season. Keeps adding new skills to his aresnal and it's a joy to watch.
3. Booker - Almost want to hold off on ranking him until the Suns get good or he leaves for greener pastures, but he really is this good.
4. Mitchell - Still a question about if he can truly be "the guy" for a championship team, but he was incredible in the bubble short of that last turnover.
5. Simmons - His weakness is obvious, but it can't be overstated how good he is at nearly everything else. Maybe he just needs the right coach or be convinced into a PF role? Idk.
6. Jaylen Brown - I was 10x more nervous about his progression last year than I was Tatum's. Has stepped up significantly this season though. I kinda thought he deserved Tatum's All-Star spot. Hopefully he'll get the nod next year.
7. Trae - I'm not gonna pretend like I watch the Hawks.
8. Murray - And now I'm mad I didn't watch the Nuggets more this season. Incredible talent.
9. Ja - Love this kid. I want him to posterize everyone on this list except the Celtics.
10. Zion - If he stays healthy he could turn into #1.

He’s just numbers and highlights to me at this point - I can’t say I’ve watched a Hawks game in years, so makes it easier to forget and harder to decide where to rank him.
